On October 28th, IHEARTCOMIX! drops the new single "Zombies" from Designer Drugs . As noted in the flyer, "Back Up In This" will be released as well, making this a 2-for-1 special. With a title like "Zombies" you'd expect a Halloween-esque, spooked-out banger. This track is nothing short of that. Two years ago next week, TV On The Radio's Return to Cookie Mountain was released to critical acclaim and fan appreciation. The album was dark and rather isolating, and it took quite a few listens to warm up to the sound - which was good, but viscous and unrelenting. On March 11th, 2008, I witnessed Chromeo electrify nyc's Madison Square Garden. Who would have thought today's youth would dance to 80's synth pop?
