SPOD actually showed off this Powerpoint powered 'video clip' at his Hopetoun launch show a few months back . Everyone had to crowd around his laptop to watch it though, as the projector wasn't working. This is undoubtedly the best video you will see this year and/or EVER.

The Get Busy Crew 'rep' Sydney. They make party jamz. The lead female MC is 11 years old. They rock the bells like LL, and the stuff they kick is approximately 5,000 times more fresh than you and your homies' weak ass rhymez. Bustin' Lines You can catch the whole crew at the Pedestrian TV issue 14 launch show at the Berlin Lounge on the Gold Coast this Friday (July 4). The night is also co-presented by the lovely folks over at the [...]

Hey, you remember that time you remixed Radiohead's track Nude as part of some online contest thingo ? Well it was kinda cool, in fact I even thought it was (almost) straight-up 'banging'. That was until I saw James Houston's effort. And for those playing along at home, the 'instruments' used were - a Sinclair ZX Spectrum (guitars), Epson LX-81 Dot Matrix Printer (drums), HP Scanjet 3c (bass guitar) and a hard drive array (speakers, vocals & FX). Via Kripy .
Unless you have been living under a large rock-shaped plastic thing for the past few weeks, you know all about Muxtape . It's arguably the greatest online mixtape making machine EVER. It's also nice, clean, friendly and been embraced by many musical peeps as a nice way to give people access to fresh and/or awesome stuff. Case in point - Menomena's Muxtape , which consists of some fantastic rare songs, b-sides and other goodies by the Portland outfit. Some other notable Muxes that we have stumbled across over the past little bit... [...]
As of RIGHT NOW you can head over to the Falls Festival webspace and sign up to their ticket ballot, putting you in the draw to get tickets to this year's pair of festival dates, which once again will be held at Marion Bay in Tasmania and Lorne in Victoria right around the time where 2008 meets 2009 (ie. New Years Eve). The official line-up won't be announced until August 13, however, we hear it's just going to consist of The Wiggles, The Eagles and Grafton Primary playing back-to-back sets for two and a half days [...]
He has 99 problems - and the ability to sing the correct words to Wonderwall appears to be one of them. Jay-Z, who according to this video is the "greatest rapper ever, who is alive, and has the first name Jay, and the last name Z, and a hypen for a middle name", will also be headlining the Roskilde Festival in Denmark later this week, which we may or may not be 'covering'. BONUS VIDEO! Jay-Z is, of course, not the worst rapper who likes to try and [...]
Balimore's Ponytail throw music like daggers. Daggers that are laced with colourful paint and LOVE. Their debut record, Ice Cream Spiritual , is a great mix of yelping punk and capital-F FUN, but it is surely in a live setting that the band really hit their stride. BONUS VIDEO! The Ice Cream Spiritual 'promo trailer'.

I went to high school with this guy called Anthony Ortuso. One of the few memories I have from my high school days involves Anthony organising a bunch of us to let mice go during our final graduation assembly. He bought the mice and distributed them amongst people with specific instructions on the exact moment when it would be 'fucking hilarious' to release them. I kept mine in the top pocket of my school shirt for the whole day, only occasionally letting it out to stretch it's legs and cause people to scream etc. Unfortunately, the whole thing [...]
