Leaderboy are continuing their rise in the Australian dance music scene through their new single titled 'Moneycat'. After receiving regular Triple J national air play for their track ' Wicked in this neighbourhood ', the anonymous outfit have made a track that is essentially a beat made out of other beats, "synched to the tempo of a moneycat arm." Visualise the waving of the money cats arms and it's almost instinctive that you wave side to side on your seat and also keep an ear out for the sneaky MJ sample.

" This is what Nu Disco used to sound like ." The Swiss are now officially back and back with a *real fist pump*, delivering a massive EP that instills some hope into the sometimes flailing Nu Disco genre. After teasing us with the bouncy "Connect" , this EP comes in hot with the feature Elouisa: a simple, catchy dance tune about a simple girl who just wants to dance. That will in turn make you dance. Featuring remixes from the renowned Late Nite Tuff Guy) and Villa, both Elouisa [...]
If you weren't envious of those heading to Holy Ship next year, you will now with a 'tour' of the MSC Divina. An upgraded vessel from last year, the MSC Divini is most definitely the ship you want to be sailing when it comes to get down to the ridiculous Holy Ship lineup that boasts among others Skrillex, Baauer, Diplo, Boys Noize, Disclosure and our own Australian exports, Flume and Light Year. The ship itself looks to cater for everyone with expansive decks, dark clubby rooms, indoor pools, beautiful bedrooms and a whole lot more. [...]

Out today is Route 94 ' s Fly 4 Life EP for the self-titled label's debut release. ROUTE001 marks a 4-track deep house offering from the British producer - really summery, funky vibes saturate the tunes with that underlying bassline that himself and so many other great producers have become familiar with. I caught Route 94 play live a few weeks ago, and I still can't figure out why he only has 21 Facebook likes? Give him some Facebook love here and buy the release on Beatport [...]

As some of you might know, oOoOO announced his debut album back in April—which follows on from two well-received EPs released via Tri Angle earlier on. Now, Without Your Love has been made available to stream online, which will be coming out June 24 on the San Francisco producer's brand-new Nihjgt Feelings label. Jam packed full of chilled, down-tempo electronica, you can listen to it here via Pitchfork Advance.
Gesaffelstein has released a music video for 'Pursuit', his latest single out today on OWSLA. It really shows dance music is big business when a producer from a relatively harder genre of music can put together what looks to be a big budget music video. Although it probably didn't cost as much as Deadmau52s million dollar clip it certainly resonates a high tier of production, which some could say reflects the premium nature of techno music. The clip itself bangs along with babes, a rave-room and an [...]
![Nick Thayer – Worlds Collide EP [OWSLA]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/5011005_lg.jpg)
“It is a high energy extra gritty bass monster that could technically be labelled as glitch hop.” Melbourne-based Nick Thayer will today release his Worlds Collide EP on Skrillex's OWSLA imprint. (how many releases are on OWSLA lately?!) The 8-track release can indeed be labelled glitch, with mid-tempo madness covering its entirety in classic Thayer style. Check it out below via TSIS before it's official release in a few hours.

Since words don’t even begin to illustrate the amount of fun (for lack of a better word) the Dim Mak crew had during their weeklong stay in Miami, we have decided to show you so you can see with your own eyes the experience sentences simply can not describe. Part 1 features a sold out “Steve Aoki & Friends: Up All Night” party where sleep was not an option. “You need sleep? You’re in Miami Bitch” Part 2 sees things get wet and, well, weird as Aoki hosts a highly anticipated Dim Mak Records [...]
Marquee Las Vegas has been a staple on the strip throughout the rise of EDM. Perfecting the day party, and revolutionizing the nightclub, they host a constant stream of larger than life names. This summer is no different as they sit in the center of it all with a massive lineup at based around the famed Electric Daisy Carnival. With Insomniac literally taking over the town this week, Pasqualle's camp has a plethora of club events, a dance music conference, and of course the festival massive. If your trying to get some sun before the big show make [...]
![Foamo – Release Me EP [Rinse]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/5009566_lg.jpg)
As one of Rinse FM’s own radio hosts and a sub-heavy house maestro, Kyle Gibbon - or Foamo - has carved up a four-track suite for Rinse Recordings, entitled Release Me , released on Beatport about 3 hours ago. Over the past five years Foamo has carved himself out a powerful niche in UK club music, with his takes on house drawing strong influence from growing up with drum & bass, garage and grime. On this EP the presence of those styles is as tangible as ever – sub-bass is hard, punchy and optimised to rattle through the [...]
![Avicii feat. Aloe Blacc – Wake Me Up [PRMD]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/5009496_lg.jpg)
Officially released today on PRMD, Avicii's country-inspired, soon-to-be-worldwide-hit Wake Me Up featuring Aloe Blacc has just hit the airwaves. Originally premiered during his set at Ultra Miami this year, the collab with the vocalist of I Need A Dollar is different to his previous pieces, but will still no doubt further indent progressive house music into the mainstream everyday listening. It was 'officially' aired for the first time 3 days ago via Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 - which can be heard below - and it's good; I like it. It's definitely not as 'hands in the air' [...]
![Nu:Logic – Everlasting Days / We Live There VIP [Hospital]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/5009320_lg.jpg)
Nu:Logic - a.k.a Dan and Matt Gresham - return to the legendary Hospital Records today with two tracks released as a 123; Everlasting Days featuring the vocals of Lifford and a VIP of We Live There, which was off their What I’ve Always Waited For album in March. Everlasting Days is a soulful garage inspired tune, harking back to the haclyon days of the 90s with a catchy hook and lush vocals. A ubiquitous summer smasher, it's truly uplifting, irresistably hands-in-the-air while maintaing a huge sing-a-long factor. Mancunian vocal talent DRS strongly contributes to the VIP mix [...]
![Footprintz – Uncertain Change (Maceo Plex Reconception Remix) [Visionquest]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/5009278_lg.jpg)
Apologies for being a bit late on this one! Maceo Plex remixed Montreal duo Footprintz's newest single Uncertain Change in late April, bringing a signature deep house sound to the release which also included a more techno-rooted mix by Matthew Dear's Audion alias. Released via the Visionquest label, its sole original offering was said to take shape as a slice of "dreamy synth-pop... anchored by a powerful bassline, [and] uplifting melodies inflected with new-wave nostalgia." Check it out below. Buy here .
![John Wizards – Lusaka By Night EP [Planet Mu]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/5009258_lg.jpg)
Out today as ZIQ331 is John Wizards' Lusaka By Night EP on the legendary Planet Mu imprint. The first single, Lukasa By Night , is a beautiful mix of the traditional and the futuristic, as Emmanuel Nzaramba’s pitch-corrected vocals act intone in the Kinyarwandan language about the children of Africa coming together over the lightest of highlife guitar riffs and subtle pools of echoing synth and warping bass. I Is follows, sketching out a lazy melody of stumbling, wobbly keys, between snapping rhythms. The release then turns to Ital Tek’s techno remix of album track Tet Lek Schrempf [...]
![Checan feat. KDot – Sharks (Steel City Remix) [Get Some]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/5009243_lg.jpg)
Out today as Get Some Records' eighth release is Checan's Sharks featuring kDot on the microphone and receiving remix treatment from Steel City. Up for free download, the British producer has touched on the growing sounds of grime and UK funky while emphasising KDot's vocal ability. This is the best Soundcloud download you'll receive for a long time.
![Ryan Elliott – Stepmode EP [Ostgut Ton]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/5009214_lg.jpg)
The Stepmode / Stillsteppin EP from Ryan Elliott is a leek, driving pair of techno tools by the Berghain/Panorama Bar resident, out on the club's record label Ostgut Ton. The shaking, up-stepping hi-hats, rude Reese bass and hypnotic tuning of Stepmode possibly belies some influence from his colleague, Fiedel, or at least from more outernational sources and London's funky sound, whilst his Stillsteppin offer more pensive drones and darkly dubbed out dynamics primed for cavernous rave spaces. ![Gesaffelstein – Pursuit [OWSLA]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/5009215_lg.jpg)
Today, Gesaffelstein's newest single Pursuit will be released on Skrillex's ever-growing OWSLA imprint. Last week he released the teaser video to it - which you can see below - and the full version (which sadly I can't put on here yet) definitely lives up to the 30-second flick's hype. It's dark, techno-influenced electro and it's got the Frenchman receiving big big ups from me.

ProducerFactory have released an official statement after last weeks uproar. ProducerFactory ; a site designed to allow anyone to purchase a track and release it online as their own, along with attractive packages to boost everything from Soundcloud plays to Twitter followers has released a rather ambiguous official statement. Without denying any real wrong doing, ProducerFactory have taken cover with artists as stating they are "...clearly on the side of the producer" by providing a service to those who cannot afford 'expensive studio equipment'. On the flip they [...]

One of my favorite tracks on Kavinsky's album Out Run would have to be Odd Look, it's an old-school French electro banger reminiscent of earlier beats from Ed Banger's SebAstian. Odd Look is getting the Ep treatment with some very cool remix's provided by Fool's Gold head honcho A-Trak and Marble's main man Surkin. I'm glad I don’t have to pick a favorite because both are absolute gold. A-Trak delivers with some dark electro/hip-hop goodness whilst Surkin's remix is big room festival oomph with classic cut and paste stabs in the high end. Check out the [...]
