So this'll be another quick post-a-track-n-run post, the second in two days. Well, this is just too good to pass up. Really. This comes via the ever lovely LA Friendly . "Focker", from Late of the Pier 's brilliant 2008 album Fantasy Black Channel has already been punished on vinyl by me incessantly. Now, though, Boys Noize has supplied his signature touch to the track, which we're all quite familiar with by now. Or should be, at least. He is the king of "party techno", anyway. So the title "Terror Re-Did" is [...]

Mmmm... French... So this just came up on Sébastien Tellier's myspace page, and I haphazardly found an mp3 version of the track over at the most revered Ohh! Crapp... - pay them a visit if it's not one of your daily reads already! So I guess this is really happening. There's really an abundance of top, top, top drawer remixes of Sébastien Tellier around. I'm thinking I should get around to doing a Lemur type monster list of the best ones. Well, we'll see how that pans out. For now, [...]

The Cutters finally make it to a late night show to perform a track. Lights & Music is performed, unsurprisingly. MP3 › Cut Copy - Lights & Music (Moulinex Remix)
It's not customary that the same release could warrant two posts in two days from me, but to be fair, it isn't actually the same release. Now don't be fooled by the fact that Invol2ver is included in both titles, this is actually a seperate release unlike the post yesterday which was from a bonus disc with the main release. That's a poor excuse, but I kind of set myself up for this one, saying in yesterday's post that I didn't post his rendition of, for example, Ladytron's Destroy Everything You Touch or M83's [...]
Today sees the release of Sasha 's Invol2ver on physical release after its iTunes release last week. It is - if you haven't noticed just yet - astonishing in every aspect and it is absolutely one of the top records of the year for me. I finally got my hands on the bonus disc, which includes another take on Thom Yorke's The Eraser from the 2006 album of the same name, amongst other things. Sweet. I'll only be posting this one track. Not only is it fantastic, but I really didn't want to [...]

While we're waiting for 140 Grime Street... MP3 › Kano - Hustler ( Boxstr ) *highly recommended* mp3 appears courtesy of First Up

Photo by redking. So Justice release new stuff. Do you really need more words than that? Well you're getting them anyway. Their newly-surfaced Planisphère is like... well, it lends itself handily to a spacecraft, arriving in four parts - phases, if you will - and is so powerful that it'd probably take you to Jupiter if you stripped it to some metal. That'll be all. MP3 › Justice - Planisphère (Part 1) ( Boxstr ) *highly recommended* MP3 › [...]
So this arrived a few days ago in my inbox . It came down immediately as the sender read "Telemitry" and a tracklist was attached. The tracklist was ostensibly fantastic. Then came the opening day of the NFL, meaning, being European and thus at least 6 hours offset, that you are positively broken the next day. So this post was put off, also after an unusually nauseous and queasy Saturday, until it's ready to save your Monday! Or, at any rate, mine. There's more NFL tonight... save me. Tracklist. [...]

Mmmmm.. how about that ninja tuna? I have a way too early shift tomorrow morning, so here I am, left to chill before having to get up at 6 AM tomorrow. Gah. Cue Mr. Scruff with a new release. Well, when I say new, it's nearly a month old by now, so you'll forgive me for not updating the Ninja Tune release list frantically. I actually did pick up Kalimba at the day of its release and the release of this one just two days later kind of just... missed [...]
Today sees the release of... What? Brotherhood ? Nah, something different entirely. An old friend of mine, Rebstar , today releases a new single from his upcoming debut album Second Base . The first track he made noise with was the feel-good, laidback, vibin' Walk With Me , which was even accompanied by a music video . The new track, a collaboration with R&B starlet Trey Songz is sure to be even bigger, even though the cool vibe has been left behind. It's called Without You , and... well, have [...]
Scouring randomly through my humungously large collection of blog bookmarks, I stumbled upon a post on the excellent Berlin Battery blog containing this track, and I simply had to post it here as well. Empire of the Sun is a collaboration between two Aussies, namely PNAU member Nick Littlemore and Luke Steele of The Sleepy Jackson . Their first single, and only release so far, is called Walking on a Dream , which, when I think about it, is even a quite fitting description of the track. [...]
2 Many DJ's, also known as Soulwax , has finally reappeared on BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix . Their first visit date all the way back to January 2005. This time, it is celebration of Creamfields ' 10-year anniversary. Their set is live from the event, which sadly means it does not clock in at, as per usual with the Essential Mixes, 2 hours, but "only" just under an hour. Thankfully, however, they have crammed as much quality in that hour as is humanly - even Daft Punkally (wait, what?) - possible. Just a quick [...]

80's pop classic + the Nashvillian touch = not so crappy Monday after all. You know that Telemitry dude, right? He's seems like just a regular guy from Nashville, TN - music city - but in his spare time he pulls out remix after remix that'll blow your socks off. He first showed up on the blogosphere (that term is horrid, by the way, but for lack of a better one...) when he remixed the title track from Coldplay's 2008 album Viva La Vida... to great pleasure of fellow bloggers [...]

New Bloc Party album in... 3 - no, scratch that - 2 days! Bloc Party has now announced their third studio album entitled Intimacy on a web... chat... show... cast... announcement..Anyway, it will release digitally on Thursday and on physical formats on the 27th of October. The tracklisting: Ares Mercury Halo Biko Trojan Horse Signs One Month Off Zephyrus Better Than Heaven Ion Square So they've [...]
This one was released a few days ago - a week, to be exact - which, in blogosphere terms makes it a dinosaur. Nothing could bother me less. Nothing. When it comes to datA these days, it seems everything he touches turns to solid aural gold. A few days ago saw the release of his Rapture EP , which we loved and are still playing in heavy rotation. Now, or as it appears in the distant past of last week (!), he's contributed a remix to the [...]

Bloc Party: approved by pikachu. The newest addition to the ever expanding, bulging catalogue of Bloc Party , who are getting written off by some, but for me they're just getting better and better, Mercury was released digitally yesterday and in physical formats (maxi CD, 73 and 123 vinyl) today, all with different tracklistings. The maxi CD features a host of remixes from good ol' Hervé , CSS - who, on a side note, are proving themselves to be quite adept remixers - and Flosstradamus . The [...]

Godsend motherfucker: datA (David Guillon) Sorry, I stole that title from Charles Dickens. Still, it is quite apt, as datA's ( Ekler'o'shocK ) new (well, we posted the track nearly three months ago! ) single is both sweet music for your ears, and is also titled - you guessed it - Rapture . Now, to be honest, this is only a sort of warmup act for the main event. The Rapture EP doesn't drop until August 27th, but this will hopefully deal with the worst datA-related withdrawal [...]

So there. The title has spoiled absolutely everything about this post. There's nothing more to it, really. Kap10Kurt 's Mission Complete EP doesn't drop until November 7th, which, really, is far too long a wait for me to post this brilliant remix by Tepr . Enjoy Côte Ouest meets East Coast. In hideous 96kbps reproduction. Still... MP3 › Kap10Kurt - Mission Complete (Tepr Remix) ( fd )

MSTRKRFT - Remixing John Legend + Andre 3000 Just when you thought MSTRKRFT were resting on their laurels and letting their red hot remix of Usher 's Love in this Club , they come out of nowhere with yet another banging banger of a track. Turning the soft, dizzyingly inert Greenlight into.. You guessed it, a roofburner - or floorburner? I'm not too sure on this - with the unmistakable MSTRKRFT signature written all over it. What's more, the track has been made available for download from the vowelless producers' [...]

Cut Copy: Tearing Up New York The nice fellas over at Pitchfork.tv have been out in the urban jungle of Brooklyn to capture the electro-rocking Melburnians Cut Copy tearing up Studio B some time back in mid May. 8 full tracks are included in the streamable performance in the following order. Oddly, and rather annoyingly, as it kinda disrupts the otherwise nice flow in the performance, So Haunted is split in two videos for some reason. But ah well, you can't have it all, eh? *psst* Direct-download links [...]
