Crookers have just released a new E.P. by the name of E.P.istola with three awesome joints, and a few remixes. The first remix is from the Bloody Beetroots , which was included with the E.P.. The second is from Mustard Pimp who I had never heard of, but anyway both do a great job with their remixes and the originals are typical Crookers . Brilliant. This tracks been floatin around the blog-o-sphere (is that a real word?) for about a week now, and supposedly it's new Daft Punk. Now if it is it's not quite up to par with what i'd expect from them. Not to say it's a bad song, it's actually pretty good, but I don't know if it's really official Daft Punk. Stereoheroes are the awesome DJ duo from the South of France who make electro bangers usually named after superheroes. They've done several crazy originals and some great remixes. There first 5 or so songs were awesome, then they lost it a little, but picked it back up with there newest song Midnight Sons featuring the also brilliant Teen Wolf who's song Fukt was also remixed by Stereoheroes. One of my favorite masked electronic artists, along with Danger and Daft Punk is the Toxic Avenger . He's been making raw hard-hitting electro music/remixes on Franki Chan's iheartcomix label, and he got mentioned in Rolling Stone magazine for his first E.P. a little while back. I finally got to see him live, and i gotta say if you ever get a chance to see his live show go for it. He takes his calm and catchy music, and turns it into hard pounding, bass heavy madness. His music isn't the only thing that's mad. He's quite strange, and speaks little english, but it just makes it all the more fun. He opened with Kilometer which is probably my favorite song off of his awesome new Guy Manuel produced effort, Sexuality. [...]
