In a year that has already shown us so many great albums, Zombie Nation's Zombielicious is easily one of my favorites so far. It was full of great complex tracks that showed the true colors of well made electronic music. One great thing about electronic music right now is that nearly every good album comes with an even better remix album. And so it came true for Zombielicious ! Some of the best remixers in the world joined up on this release, and it is nothing short of brilliant. Today you guys get to have [...]

I've enjoyed pretty much everything Dre Skull has done yet I never really thought of him as one of my favorite artists or anything. Up until now I guess he just hadn't done anything to really make me notice how much I like his music. His newest EP, however, did just that. The original track is a blissful feel good electro/pop anthem that is guaranteed to lift your mood. The original is great, but I think what really makes this release is the remixes. It is very rare that I find an EP like this where every remix is genuinely [...]

Two of my favorite electro artists have come together for a collaboration! Sure, it's not their first time working together, but it's still pretty exciting. The new track is called "Die". It is (as expected) a banger with serious club potential, and in case the original is too "2007 era electro" for you and your hipster friends, there are several great remixes that go with it. I'm really hoping this track means we can all look forward to some good new Toxic Avenger tunes coming soon! Trash Yourself [...]

Scion has just recently announced their latest EP in the Remix Project series. In case you're unaware of what I'm talking about, Scion has been taking classic tracks and making remix EP's for them with some of the hottest new artists. There have been some really cool ones already, and this new one is one of the best so far. They went for more of a dubstep/bass focused release this time, and it turned out great. I haven't been able to pick a favorite yet, but I chose the two that are probably in the real running for my favorite. [...]

Number 2 of 3 in Zodiac Cartel's Weapons of Choice series is his remix of Santigold's (formerly known as Santogold , in case you were wondering) "L.E.S. Artistes". Zodiac Cartel is giving away 3 free remixes to the public, all at 320 kbps, and with this one done he's 2/3 of the way done. I haven't followed his career extremely closely, but of what I've heard this is easily my favorite track he's made. It's just an excellent fidget/electro remix full of synths and crazy bass. You're going to like this one. [...]
I don't like to talk badly about any artist on the blog, but I have to say I was disappointed with MSTRKRFT's new album, Fist of God . I won't go in to the details of why I didn't like it because that's not what this post is about. One of the songs I thought was fairly bearable on the album was the track "Heartbreaker" featuring the previously-MSTRKRFT-remixed John Legend. I guess Laidback Luke and me have similar taste because he just turned in his remix of the track to the RCRD LBL [...]

They never seem to disappoint. Trumpdisco have continually brought us hard-hitting ear-splitting electro for the last year or so, and I think they're finally starting to get some recognition! As we watch their rise to stardom here are a few more tracks to keep us satisfied. Their latest original is a wild Proxy -esque electro track. Many artists who make club bangers often shy away from sampling and instead do it all from scratch so it's always interesting to hear an artist use a nice sample even in something harder like this. Speaking of Proxy , this [...]

Up until last week I hadn't heard of DIGIRAATII , but I was happy to discover these Cleveland natives and the bangers they've been making. It always makes me happy when I'm scrambling through our daily e-mails and find a great new artist like these guys. Their sound isn't quite innovative or anything, but they're not one of those cheap imitations that are popping up all over the place. These guys know what they're doing. DIGIRAATII make fun club music that will knock you right out of your seat. These first two are originals of theirs (first one is [...]
Who wants to explain this to me?

This remix might be one of the most epic remixes of 2009. Strip Steve takes you on a 303 filled voyage to a very smooth house breakdown that can make anyone feel amazing. This would be great to hear really late in the night at a club. Really good job by Strip Steve on this one! Dave P & Adam Sparkle - Delaze (Strip Steve's 9 Minute Journey To Salvation Mix) (ALT)

The boys have done it again. Major Lazer's Guns Don't Kill People...Lazers Do is making all kinds of noise throughout the music industry; getting the attention of not just blogs and scenesters, but serious recognition from important industry staples such as Rolling Stone magazine. One of the most exciting and excellent things that comes with a project like this is the remixes. New remixes are appearing everyday making them impossible to ignore. From artists who were lucky enough to find the song stems, and make their way on to a few blogs, all [...]

Hey everybody. Sorry about the lack of posting lately. I had a great trip to Europe, and a few solid days of recovery from the 13 hours of flying home. So now I'm ready to give you some more of what you love. Thanks to everyone else here at FS for holding it down, of course. Here's a track to help you chill out and enjoy a nice sunny summer day. Fischerspooner - Danse en France (ALT) [...]

Today was a very depressing today worldwide. Today the king of pop Michael Jackson was pronounced dead due to cardiac arrest. Many people can agree with me by saying that Michael Jackson died before his time and deserved much more time on this earth. His legacy will overshadow his controversial years prior to his death and his music will live on forever. Personally if it wasn't for MJ and The Beatles I would probably not be making music today. His physical presence might be gone but his music and his spirit will never leave. Michael [...]

Here is our latest interview with Scandinavian Renaissance Man. We blogged about them previously and we love them so much that we interviewed them! Enjoy. How did you two meet? By introducing ourselves followed by a handshake. This happened some years ago in an architectural office we used to work for. How old were you guys when you first started making music? Young-ish. Who are some of your biggest musical influences? [...]
Here is a video of Boys Noize dropping some brand new D.I.M. This shit is fucking huge!!!

Here are some sick summer kick off tracks. Hope you dig em. DJ Gant Man - Juke Dat Girl (Nadastrom Remix) (ALT) Hugg and Pepp - Penguini (Original Mix) (ALT)

Jokers Of The Scene take on "Turbo" by Burns . I'm diggin it. Burns - Turbo (Jokers Of The Scene Remix) (ALT)
