Kosha Dillz gets dark on his new track and video, "Moses Wasteland". The Nate G. produced record takes listeners on a drugged out trip that sees Kosha partying at the dope house, and tripping with dead celebrities. The trip ends with a passed out Dillz being abandoned by friends in a "this is your life" kind of sequence. Actually pretty good stuff. The song is off Kosha's recently released Jet Lag EP . Jon Connor currently has three project from which to pull records for video and promotion. Here he digs back into his acclaimed Season 2 mixtape and gives us visuals for "Someone Like Me", one of Connor's most revealing records. Watch the new video below.

Martin $ky recently linked up with Vic Spencer for a studio session. The two created a new record by the name of "Rocky", which we will get soon along with video from the session. $ky hit us with some pics of the session as well as the song's artwork earlier today. Tree is an MC and producer that has really impressed me lately. He's sometimes overlooked because of all the other waves happening in Chicago right now, but his Soul Trap style is really dope, and serves as a bridge between that golden era aesthetic and the new styles of Hip Hop emerging in 2012. SpaceGhostPurrp has an announcement. "I'm a God, I'm no longer a black man," he raps in his new song/video, "The Black God". It's an apocalyptic record, and the video shows various night time city shots as SpaceGhostPurrp dives into his transformation and breaks down the science. This is solid all around. Watch it below.

Femdot of ILL Ave links up with Martin $ky for "$kydot", a laidback and lo-fi groove that seems to fit in on a rainy Saturday morning. Kanye West & 2Chainz on BET's 106 & Park Kanye West continues to diversify the roster of his G.O.O.D. Music label with the signing of Atlanta based 2Chainz, otherwise known as the Artist Formerly Known As Tity Boi . The two have already worked together in the past; Mr. West made a cameo on stage with 2Chainz back at SXSW, he then recruited him for the G.O.O.D. Azealia Banks loosed "Jumanji" earlier today via her twitter account, saying it is off of the Fantastic mixtape. The Harlem MC utilizes a tropical influenced beat produced by Hudson Mohawke and Nick Hook to deliver some fresh rhymes, true to her nature she spares no blows. The ongoing story of Lil Boosie's murder trial has come to a close, with a jury in Baton Rouge finding the Rapper not guilty after six days of testimony. The charge brought against Torrence Hatch (Boosie's given name) was first degree murder in connection with the death of Terry Boyd. The prosecution asserted that Hatch had contracted Michael Louding to commit the crime, but the defense felt that the state did not have enough to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt; they turned out to be correct. However we won't be receiving any victory tracks from the artist, as he is currently serving an 8 year sentence for smuggling drugs [...]

Chance The Rapper has a new video for "Hey Ma" in honor of Mother's Day happening this Sunday. He was in the studio on Tuesday, and showed me the video, which uses family photos for a very cool concept. All the shots in the video are the same as the photos, just 17 plus years later. This week I attended a couple studio sessions and grabbed some photos. On Tuesday I was at SoundScape Studio, where a strong collective of artists worked on a new material. Chance The Rapper recorded an acoustic version of "Hey Ma", and started on a new record with BrandUn DeShay. While DeShay also put a banger together with Thelonious Martin. Later in the afternoon, ShowYouSuck and Auggie The 9th paid a visit to Thelonious to work on a new record as well. The homie and co-director of our "Natural High" video, Aykid Shots, was at the ScHoolboy Q show on Weds, where ScHoolboy Q and Ab-Soul performed to a packed house. They ended their set by sending special message to the venue security, and dropped Chief Keef's "I Don't Like". Watch the clip below in all its glory.
