Chicago's GTW teams up with brandUn deshay and Rai Knight for this new joint, "LSD". The record is not a drug song, but rather addresses the poverty line that is Lake Shore Drive, a mini-highway that stretches Chicago's East Side, and separates the rich from the poor. Grab it below.

"Vic Greenthumbs' got my back." Vic Spencer mentioned that he had a slew of videos in line for his latest release, Vic Greenthumbs. Today we have a new one for "Closed Curtains", a choppy record in which Vic reminisces on his loved ones lost, and the alter-ego that won't let him fail. Not to get too deep with it or anything.

Today he releases "Origins of Cotton" produced by grammy-nominated musician Bink. Off his upcoming NEW BLACK ® HISTORY project that is due this month. This latest video from The Roots has no connection to either their gig on Late Night or Undun , rather it is their rendition of "Ain't Gonna Let Nobody Turn Me Around". The track is off of the upcoming compilation Soundtrack to a Revolution . The album featuring various contemporary artists covering songs from the mid 20th century. Featuring a splicing of old black and white footage and The Roots recording the track, this is a great diversion from the usual path. Watch it here

Los Angeles duo Sound FX released " A Son's Prayer " late last year. The track is a single off of their EP Things Fall Apart: A Prelude to the Sunset LP and recently got the video treatment from director Chris Gudino. Look for the EP soon as well as a more in-depth look at the group.

GLC dropped his latest music video off of Eternal Sunshine of the Pimpin Mind . "Reach for the Top" was directed by Terrence Jones and is a visual memoir for an artist whose career has been long and full of experiences. The music itself reflects the diversity of these experiences and the video strengthens the story, providing some visual insight into the mind of what very well may be a younger Ism. Che kicked off his set with a new freestyle over Common's "Sweet", in which he expressed his disappointment with political engagement, and also dubbed himself underground and under-rated. Blu drops a new video for "Jesus", the title track off the EP he released in 2011. The video is directed by Aaronisnotcool, with the song's production coming from Madlib. The mysterious New York based producer RAJA is back with another round of creative treats in his latest edit of Clipse's "Hot". This was definitely a standout on the Neptunes Presents: The Clones LP and RAJA dug it up, for trippy rework.
