He quickly sent me his latest 'tape Complicated Simplicity and was impressed with the talent and potential Max shows on the project. Max himself invites you to " take a journey throughout the soundwave hemisphere " in the press release for Complicated Simplicity and he guides you through his sonical odyssey with 12 tracks and standout feature by Max Bouvagnet and Saba. While at a recent recording session Femdot came up with the concept to a "Theme Song To a Robbery". In the song you'll find a Femdi that's more edgy and focused, but with the same throwback flow that makes him so unique. Femdelacreme is due this summer.

SaveMoney's own, Caleb James drops a visual for his "TRU" freestyle today. Caleb uses Lil' Kim's "Crush on You" beat to deliver the 1 minute, 40 second flow. Dinero Dynasty have been doing everything right on the promotional side of things as they get ready to release their upcoming 'tape Local Ave , nonetheless, the quality of the music that we have been able to hear is what has really made the project their most anticipated yet. The title track is no exception and with featured vocals by Lili K, this might be one of their best songs yet.

It's been a while since we've posted music from D.C. native, Phil Ade. Earlier this week Phil Ade released "2 AM", a track off of his upcoming mixtape "R.O.S.E." (Result Of Society’s Evils) set to be dropping this spring. I saw Phil perform a good 2 years ago and have been a fan since. His music does not disappoint and it's clear Phil keeps bringing hits to the table. The song features Bun B and is produced by Sunny Norway. It's been awhile since we've had Netherfriends on Ruby Hornet when the Netherfriends X Chandler London X Mig Mora track, "Numero Uno," dropped in time for Valentine's Day. Since then, I can honestly admit I've played the song an unhealthy amount of times since (as well as keeping the accompanying cartoon video on repeat). Yesterday, he put up the first 12 songs of his 50 Songs 50 States album for streaming on his Bandcamp , with an extra added incentive of making them downloadable with a pre-order of the full album. Along with being one of the most anticipated films this year, the soundtrack to Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby is just as anticipated. RH regular Hollywood Holt unknowingly produced the Andre 3stacks and Queen B's Amy Winehouse cover "Back To Black" that was featured in the film and trailer. With music heavy weights like Jay-z, Jack White, The XX, Gotye and many more it's not surprise people have been waiting for it. This past weekend was C2E2 (Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo) 2013, and I had the pleasure of spending my entire Saturday with some familiar Ruby Hornet figures in Auggie the 9th, ShowYouSuck, and Chandler London. Video footage from the day's shenanigans spent wandering around the show floor admiring various street art, comic books, cosplayers, and general geeky stuff is cooking and will be posted in the near future.
