Recently I've been coming across some fantastic re-edits and remixes of some old favourites from the 70s and 80s. In particular, there's some great work from The Revenge and Dimitri From Paris. The best finds are the more subtle re-edits that retain most aspects of the original and stretch and mould the best parts into something for the dancefloor. Great new track from Zimmer on the Discotexas label - those guys just can't stop churning out gold. The track's called Looking At You and its sweet, slow and beautiful. Expertly shot on the streets of Paris by Quentin Chevrier and Fabrice Starzinskas (97seconds.com), the video follows the well-used theme of an incredibly attractive woman swanning around flirtatiously in an incredibly attractive place. To be honest the lack of originality doesn't bother me one bit!

by Marc Johns I stumbled across this really nice downtempo, dubby electro track by Move D called "A [Workshop 13]". There's a delightful video to go with it about a cupcake who tries to sail away but gets marooned on an island... quite beautiful (you have to give yourself a bit of a nudge when you realise you're getting emotional about a cupcake). The video was put together by 29NovFilms who seem to be doing some pretty experimental stuff with visuals. Check them out here .
