I'm a big fan of Spider Bags and hope this new video & song means new material is on the way (via @malitzd & @marcissist)

Some new material from Eric Gaffney from Sebadoh , on an Angelfire page no less! Lots of info to ingest here along with some free mp32s, so check it out - the man's done some good work in the past. GRACEFULLY AGING HIPPY SOLOISTS .
A nice psychedelic new video for your weekend from Ty Segall , its got all the right moves to keep you fuzzed out for awhile.
Stumbled across this London band called Wet Paint that seems to be giving bands like Yuck a run for their money at being the most 902s affected thing around right now. I kind of just buy into it all really, so enjoy the Dino/Pave/SY slack mash-up.
Brand new video for Surf City directed and edited by my good pal Raul Wilderness Bureau [ @raulzahir ] - give it a spin.

Tonight at the Dunes: 100% Silk Tour with LA Vampires, Ital, Innergaze and more. Pretty killer show for a Monday night in DC.

There's a brand new LP on Teenbeat Records by the likes of Fang Wizard, and so far I like what I hear. This project makes a nice addition to the Teenbeat family where I was an intern for many years. There's not a lot of info about this outfit other than they are based here in our Nation's Capital - maybe more will be revealed soon? Fang Wizard .
A show not to be missed this week: AIDS Wolf, Unicorn Hard-on and The Plums at Comet Ping Pong

I'm a sucker for music that comes out of Charlottesville, VA and my pal Jamie Greenland turned me on to this band Left & Right - it says the members are all employed by UVA's transit service (not unlike Mr. Nastanovich back in the day). Left and Right .

I have a hard time finding anything bad in the material Bradford Cox continues to release so I'm obviously excited about a new Atlas Sound LP. Stream it over at the NY Times. Now Playing | 'Parallax,' the New Album by Atlas Sound - NYTimes.com .

More and more new music is coming out of DC lately, this time from The Jet Age which has an LP entitled "Domestic Disturbances" due in January and is now available to stream . Eric used to be in the Hurricane Lamps who were a bunch of good guys that did a lot of good shows around town back in the day.
I prefer the more upbeat Moon Duo jams but this video is worth a look - especially if you like werewolves.

I must say this new LP from David Lynch intrigues me - its ridiculous name alone should warrant it at least one listen from anyone in my opinion. I'm going to check it out now and then maybe I'll update this post with my reaction. First Listen: David Lynch, 'Crazy Clown Time' : NPR .

Brand new music has just been released by Black Gold , a project from Aaron of DC band Bellman Barker . I dig the synth pop chill vibe its got going; be sure to give it a spin. Black Gold | Black Hills .
If you haven't yet heard or gotten with the new Real Estate LP, what's taking you so long? Check the new video. Real Estate - It's Real on Vimeo on Vimeo
