The Killers, one of my favorite bands, are currently working on their third studio album titled Day And Age . I'm really hoping that they return to their synth rock roots for some tracks, as seen on their debut album Hot Fuss . That album was the shit, man. I could play through the whole album again and again and again - no skipping tracks. Below, you can check out videos of the Killers performing some new tracks live. ...to chop off your braids. This time, Omarion departs with the braids that he's lived with his whole life. Also in the video, Omarion speaks of his new upcoming album. Timbo! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v =gShN1fiEvfI

~ Franz Ferdinand - Lucid Dreams ~ Franz Ferdinand are readying their third studio album, and Lucid Dreams is one of the first tracks we're able to hear from the upcoming disc. Can't wait to hear more material, I've missed these guys! Listen: Link 1 / Link 2
~ Girlicious - Girlicious~ It looks like this year is proving to be the stage for the battle between the girl groups: Danity Kane's sophomore Welcome To The Dollhouse and the Pussycat Dolls' highly anticipated Doll Domination are met by Girlicious and their debut album. Released in Canada today, and on September 29th in the States, Girlicious' debut shapes up to be pretty good, much better than I expected. I say this album has what it takes to go up against DK and PCD, but with the iffy promotion that they're [...]
Below you can check out a short trailer for the upcoming MTV Movie Awards, with host Russell Brand and the "queen" of last year's VMAs, Britney Spears. In the video, Brit's looking like she's finally got her act together. Right now, she's in the studio recording her new album with the likes of Sean Garrett, Darkchild, Timbaland, Danja, and Bloodshy & Avant, so let's hope she'll be able to fully push that one, unlike the under-promoted Blackout . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v =nj8gQhLPRG4 Click here [...]
~ Chris Brown - Glow In The Dark ~ Glow In The Dark is a new unreleased track by Chris Breezy. It's a soothing slow joint, reminiscient of Take You Down at the end with its electric guitars. A nice track for one of those romantic nights, hehe. Props to I'm Wil for the track. Listen: Link 1 / Link 2
~ Kanye West - Champion [Video] ~ Well, I dunno if it's an official single, but I told ya... Kanye was shootin' a video for Champion . And now it all makes sense: a track to coincide with the 2008 Olympics. In the video, Kanye gets his Muppet on as he goes for the gold. Kanye pulls it off yet again with another creative video. Sick.
~ Mariah Carey [ft. Busta Rhymes] - Side Effects [Remix] ~ Busta Rhymes lends a verse on a remix to MC's Side Effects . Word around the blogosphere is that this new version could possibly be the next single to be released from the album. I think it's way too early to tell, but if that was the case, I'd be pretty content with it. Nevertheless, Mariah needs to release Migrate , or the E=MC2 project is pretty messed up. Listen: Link 1 [...]
~ Jay-Z - Jockin' Jay-Z ~ Jay-Z's back, AGAIN, with a new track from his upcoming album The Blueprint 3 . The song, Jockin' Jay-Z features bangin' production from Mr. Kanye West. Listen: Link 1 / Link 2
~ Chris Brown - Dreamer ~ Dreamer is a new track that Chris Brown has recorded for the Team USA Olympic soundtrack. It's an uplifting, inspiring song, and Chris' vocals sound great here. Click below to stream the track via YouTube, and if you're diggin' it, be sure to purchase the charity single from iTunes. While you're there, check out the rest of the charity soundtrack, with tracks from Nelly, Flipsyde, Queen Latifah, and Three Doors Down. YouTube it: Here [...]
~ Donnie Klang [ft. Diddy] - Take You There [Video] ~ After what seemed like an eternity, the 3rd piece of the Making the Band 4 puzzle, Donnie Klang, is finally releasing his debut single from his album Just A Rolling Stone . Take You There is an upbeat joint, featuring the boss himself, Diddy. The track sounds... generic at best, and Donnie's voice sounds mad altered. Sorry, but I don't think this project is gonna go anywhere. We've already got Justin Timberlake for this look and sound, and he's even got Timbo [...]
Listen to that beat. Shooooot, I want it.
