Gang of Four rerecorded some of their best songs on the new record "Return the Gift". Much like The Fall, New Order and other groups, Gang of Four was a very important sound in new wave/post-punk music of the late 70s early 80s. More Mono/WEG news. "Palmless Prayer / Mass Murder Refrain" is slated for release on Dec. 14 in Japan on human highway records. The album is said to be around 74 minutes of orchestral music. Mono has posted short snippets of the songs on their site and the cover art for the album. We'll bring this album in Euro tour. Holy Fuck , what a cool name. The coolest band name I could ever imagine to exist. Gimmick? No not really, they are pretty good. They make electronic dance beats without any sequencers, samplers, or laptops, kind of like Lcd Soundsystem (my current favorite).
