"Digital Lion" was actually the second of two James Blake tracks released today. The first, "Voyeur," was unfortunately taken down, but the former will suffice for the time being. Back when we first heard "Entertainment," the lead single from Phoenix's upcoming studio LP Bankrupt! , it wasn't hard to pick up on the classical Asian vibe. Indeed, the song was compared to Siouxsie and The Banshees' " Hong Kong Garden " for the similar, unmistakable lead aesthetic, of which director Patrick Daughters utilizes. The video features a narrative of love-drawn actors spliced across different eras, which gets very soap opera-y at one point. Check it out below and grab Bankrupt! Combining two unhinged forces - Los Angeles chaos-rap outfit Clipping and the drum apocalypse that is Foot Village - and we have a more blistering version of "This Song Is A Drug Deal." The pace is pushed to absolute extremes, which fits the Clipping angle fairly well.
