LAURENS WALKING David Lynch´s 1999 film The Straight Story may have been a departure in content, but not in style. Nor was it a departure musically for long time Lynch compadre Angelo Badalamenti , except for the violin ridden track "Laurens Walking". In the film the track accompanies beautiful landscape shots of Laurens, Iowa, as Alvin Straight sets off on his journey across the state lines.
