Just when you thought dubstep couldn't space out any more, FaltyDL shakes up your expectations. Since I usually enjoy Beats in Space alone, my heart always skips a beat when I see that Tim Sweeney will be in town. Last time I saw him, he played to a packed crowd at the Distortion Final Party. After his track Mer' Strøm was mashed up with Danish hip hop legends Malk De Koijn by turntable-aficionados Den Sorte Skole, the track's hook now brings forward the best (and worst) from the crowd at every single teenage party around. Darkstar - Aidys Girl's A Computer [See post to listen to audio] The last couple of days have been quite crazy, and all I've wanted to listen to was this track. There aren't many blogger street points in posting a track that was massive 6 months ago. I'm well aware of that, thank you. But it's still a good track, and with the constant pursuit of the newest and best, it's strangely rewarding to dwell for a minute. Still, I do the best to catch up with the latest and greatest releases, and fortunately there's no shortage of those. While it's always nice to let the likes of Pangaea, Untold, and Scuba explore the outer realms of dubstep, a straight-forward approach is quite refreshing once in a while.
