One of my favorite artists of all time RUBIX is adding a little sex to his musical tastes with his new project entitled "Cleavage." Cleavage is a collaboration of Rubix and Matthijs van Liessum (van Liessum art). They have been working on this project for almost a year now and recently they introduced themselves to the world with their title track. "My Body" I can watch this video over and over and not get sick of it... but not at work of course. [...]

Formula Drift is celebrating it's 10 Year Anniversary this year, and while the sport of drifting in America has for sure experienced is set ups and downs it's safe to say that Drifting in America is no longer a fad and that it is here to stay. As the styles and teams in Formula D continue to evolve, so does the sport. Now Formula D is bigger than ever and every stop this year is promising sell out attendance. Long Beach is the first stop of Formula D and for [...]

Started from the Trap now I rap. Bad ass show from the baddest rapper in the game right now. Coming off a hugely successful Coachella weekend, 2 Chainz decided to stop by the Observatory in Santa Ana, CA to add another Southern California show to his tour schedule. The show was, hot, sweaty, trappy, and completely sold out. Most definitely one of the best rap show's i've ever been to.
I Love these guys. Feel good music from a bunch of my feel good friends. Keep your eyes peeled and your ears on the ground because RIDE THE UNIVERSE is coming for you. Moon & Walker - Love A Little More (Ride The Universe Remix) from Andy on Vimeo . Full download here:

Middle Eastern music seems to go oddly well when played over a trap beat, I guess thats why more and more of the bigger names are producing songs with middles eastern influences in them. That's not to say the "small guys" aren't doing some pretty creative stuff either. The other day I was sent an email that most definitely turned me on to two new comers in the Trap Scene. Nima Yamimi and Austin Millz have teamed up to make a pretty chill Middle Eastern influence trap banger... Check it
If you're not checking Junkhouse's blog 5 times a day for updates like we are, then consider yourself lucky. One visit to the blog of one of the baddest car crew's around is all it takes to be hooked!!! No seriously, we literally check that shit 5 times a day. Once we heard (via instagram) that our favorite Chi-Town car crew was teaming up with one of our favorite Chi-Town DJ's we almost lost our shit!!! Then we saw the video and officially did! So what does trap and [...]

Most people would think Penny Loafs is another name for some sort of mini meat loaf dish or something, and although I am a huge lover of a 4 good Meat Loaf, I'm also a big fan of delicious beats. This track by iLLA x PENNY LOAFS has got us all warm inside and we can most definitely see ourselves cruising around in beautiful SoCal with our Jeep off bumping the track.

Ipod battles have always been an idea of ours since we saw our first ipod battle 8 years ago in Manchester, needless to say, that concept has most definitely caught on stateside and has eventually got the backing of the golden cow of energy drinks Red Bull. If you're in the LA area, make sure you stop by the Culture Clash event hosted by Red Bull. Our main dude KLEVER will be there jamming out with the crew over at DIM MAK (his new record label) and he will [...]

Remember So.Cal's favorite disco funk group Fiero? They always brought a ton of energy to every gig they played and now they are raising their game to a whole nother level. They've teamed up with Peter Wenk all the way in Germany to add some international heat under their mystical belts. Look forward to their EP dropping soon but in the mean time this should help keep your ears in the stars. It's a rare thing for an indie track to impress us these days but this NEW TIMERS track is just too good not to post. [soundcloud url=" http://api.soundcloud.com/trac ks/69734217" params="?" width=" 100%" height="166" iframe="false" /]

Who the fuck wouldn't want to go see one of the most legendary punk rock bands of all time??!?!? Thats exactly why we went to go see Bad Brains. We can see why they were banned in DC.

Derek Allen - 1979(Cover)

Waka Flocka Flame and the whole BSM family invaded Orange County a month ago... Shit went crazy. Shouts to the whole crew at the Observatory for putting on the Trap show of the year. [...]

We feature a TON of electronic music on this site but we rarely cross genres and move over to something a little more analog. This morning I was sent over something that had me tapping my foot and fighting the urge to dance from the first note Like most "indie" bands, I have never heard of Lovett but after this video and song, I am now an official fan. HEARTATTACK from Lovett on Vimeo . For those [...]

Yesterday we let you know that we had two really amazing international gems for your listening pleasure, and if you thought TOG was good.. just wait till you hear this collab between SEB x Fred Falke x Burns.. Seb is a vocalist / singer / man of leisure from beautiful sunny London. He has pretty much done everything from selling cookware to working in a movie theater before he decided to focus on just music. We can most definitely relate to that. When we [...]

It's very rare that our inboxes get filled with GOOD music now a days especially when it's international but this week we have got very lucky with two amazing gems... one from France and one from Norway Meet Norwegian horror-house pop act Tôg - sizzling synthesizers, 60's combo organs, arpeggio swirls and thumping, italo-house beats. Beginning through a chance encounter, songwriter Lars Christian Olsen and his room mate would conduct "disturbing" sessions of electronic music experimentation using laptop synthesizers and an old Farfisa organ. But as luck will have it with true musical genius, [...]
