This earth-shatteringly important video flashback is from 1998. The very important “chest shaving” question was posed to Bono, apparently, after the "U2 Massive Heeds" (as TFI Friday's Chris Evans called them), had appeared on one TFI Friday episode where the massive headed Bono had chest hair and then appeared on another episode where the massive headed Bono did not have chest hair. That's the back cover of the UK version of the Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own DVD single . I was going through some of my stuff and I saw it and it was Father's Day, so I snapped a photo. That photo of the U2 dads makes me sad and happy at the same time. Relatedly unrelated: The official video for the song Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own, for me, was a quintessential *almost awesome moment. (See below). Remember that interview that drummer did that one time in 2009 at that game by some basketball team in some city in some arena? Oh yes, Larry Mullen Jr. interviewed at halftime of a New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden in 2009. I wonder how many Bud Lights Jr. drank before that interview.
