Matt McGhee takes on some sweet Dom Kennedy beat and makes it his own. He continues his rampage leading up to his next project and I'm excited to see what damage this DMV repper is about to go again. Mac Miller is back once again to take another step forward in his rap game process. The way I have always been with Mac is with his mixtape I find some tracks that I can't get enough of then others that I can. Seemingly out of nowhere, Dom Kennedy comes back again to give everyone another mixtape with The Original Dom Kennedy . With a project full of classic Dom Kennedy with original artwork on each song which I found interesting, Dom captures our attention once again. While I feel like something is wrong with my well being if I ever listen to Invented Sex from Trey Songz by myself but The Hood Internet for some reason was doing that and found a Cut Copy song that made it socially acceptable to do it. The Cut Copy beat sounds so much better with Trey Songz vocals on it and for a couple minutes I can hold in my sanity.

Wow I mean listen to that sample, how can you not get hyped? While I still wish Lil Wayne had a verse on this song, this will have to do, especially from Game or The Game or whatever he is now. YES. wow just by playing the intro to this song I am already hyped. I recently got the chance to interview Sacramento's own Chuuwee and just listening to him gets me hyped on every play. He goes together with Mad Flows over an impeccable song to create magic. I am sort of scared how much I like this song and this will be on heavy repeat tomorrow.

Damn it is about time that Michigan native Young Scolla teams up with Chicago wonder kid brandUn DeShay. The more that I play brandUn DeShay I recognize his crazy skills on both the producing and rapping end and when he floats onto a song you know that it is good. Jus is a white rapper out of Connecticut who doesn't take the same route as every other white rapper out there who ends up somehow ending in the pop hemisphere and gives us some refreshing new rap music. It is off of Jus' upcoming mixtape Supply & Demand which I will definitely be checking out after this one.

What rock have I been sleeping under? Frank Ramzstein comes back again to give us a little reminder of his murderous tendencies. I finally dug through all my emails to find this gem and blast it at 3am. Frank is preparing for his next project Quite Frankly which will hopefully make it to the light this year for us to jam to. When it comes to the weekend is really when I actually take a hit into my inbox. Jimmy Astro who is originally from Milwaukee and then moved to Tennessee drops off Oreos which is the first single off of his upcoming mixtape Jimmy . Damn, Asher & Chip sound amazing on a track together. After Asleep In The Bread Aisle and well even before it, Asher Roth was known for being a white rapper who tackled unique beats and gave us unique raps. With Back Home Asher picks up a Blended Babies beat that packs on the soul and gives Chip Tha Ripper a beautiful home and even having the other feature Whatzisface rip the track apart. Asher Roth ft. Neako & Wiz Khalifa came together to make one of my favorite songs known to date with Back To The Set and these two friends link up again for Flesh and of course make magic. The Jet brothers link up once again for the 6th track that they have recently done together. The two of them are supposedly going to have a collabo mixtape that will most likely drop sometime soon since all these tracks are flying out left and right and since they do work on the majority of songs they are on together I think the project should be pretty dope. Why couldn't Lupe do a mixtape or something for us that included raps that are like THIS instead of that garbage that he hyped up LASERS to be. Travis Barker links with Pharrell & Lupe Fiasco combining The Neptunes beat feel with Barkers drums and classic Lupe rhymes to create greatness. This song is amazing and I'm sad Lupe had to ruin himself with that girl pop garbage that was LASERS . I understand he is complaning it was the label but there are millions of artists who are doing music outside of their label. [...]

Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino is back once again. While his early music wasn't as appealing to me Freaks & Geeks put me over the edge as a complete fan of Gambino. Not to mention he is one of my favorite characters on the best show on TV Community. Now he released this EP out of nowhere it seems to gear up for his upcoming tour which hopefully I will be able to attend. In what seems to be maybe the closest preview we will have for a bit on what Kid Cudi's Wizard will sound like, Cudi & Travis Barker link up for Cool Head which is due off of Travis Barker's upcoming album. Kid Cudi & Barker come together to create a dark rock track that infuses Kid Cudi's hook singing ability with some cunning rhymes here and there.
