A$AP Ferg follows up the release of his "Work" remix last night by premiering the video. On paper, the song reads like a smash, when you see all of the young gunners - A$AP Rocky, French Montana, Trinidad Jame$ and ScHoolboy Q - listed together. But did the hype and prolonged wait outdo the actual finished product on this one? Or is it a simple case of ScHoolboy, working under the TDE motto of killing every beat in sight, completely running circles around everyone else involved?
The one thing evident in Velous' new video is that he's not trying to be "Larger Than Life." Relying on his crooning, rapping, and mastery of musical instruments, this Kingston, New York native could very well be the whole package. Even greater than the aforementioned talents, it's his obvious affection and warmth throughout the course of the song that separates him from the legions of other rapping singers. "Larger Than Life" will be featured on his upcoming project Velocity .
Alex Wiley's a little hard to believe. When I first saw the video for "Heaux" , I was taken aback by this seemingly young, chubby guy rappin' his ass off.
