Miami Music Week and Ultra are in full swing today, and one of the more promising pool parties is broadcasting live on be-at.tv. I just watched Jamies Zabiela's highly technical set, and it is great if you're in to DJ gear. 12th Planet , Flinch , and Crizzly were in Toronto just a few short weeks ago, and we managed to squeeze in to the packed house in order to shoot a video feature on some of our favourite dubstep artists. Word is Skrillex has had the chords for this track for almost a year but that we're only hearing it just now. If that's true, then he really is way ahead of the curve. I'm hoping we hear more stuff like this in the coming months - less aggressive, with more of a focus on the melodic. Skrillex is unquestionably an incredibly talented musician, but the most difficult can often be pivoting, especially when you've built such a fanatic following on a particular sound. Harvard Bass recently pumped out this bootleg remix of Avicii's Levels. He takes the recognizable vocals, chops them up, and uses them in a more unique way than I've seen other remixers do. I have another track off Felix Cartal's upcoming full-length album Different Faces (dropping March 27th) for you today. 30,000 LFOs is definitely the loudest, hardest track of the entire album. Murs launched a Kickstarter campaign recently in order to fund the pressing, printing, and merch side of a very interesting project he's been working on for over year. The new 4-track WOLF compilation EP was released on the 9th of March, and features London based producers Medlar and KRL , Maxxi Soundsystem from Brighton and finally the Australian Weekend Express . It's full of deep and classic-chicago-sounding house vibes perfect for the springtime, and outside at the pool during the day. Especially enjoying the Maxxi Soundsystem track; even at the extremely low bitrate of 128kbps this track sounds impossibly lush. I can't wait to see how it sounds on a massive system! [...]

Cassian recently released his remix of Snake Charmer for free on his soundcloud. The track has been in his sets, Bag Raiders' , Treasure Fingers' , and many others for some time now and it's awesome to finally be able to listen to this bad boy at home. Definitely the grooviest and least offensive use of cowbell I've heard.
