So this snizz went down in Toronto on the 28th. Last time I saw them try this Isaac Brock was being electrocuted the whole time. I thought he would never speak to BSS again. But thankfully they tried it again and its spectacular (especially with Emily!) Enjoy!

So still relaxing from a superb thanksgiving feast, I decided to post a couple new tracks that will soon be the forecast of 2009. > Franz Ferdinand - Ulysses Returning with their 3rd full length LP entitled Tonight: Franz Ferdinand , Franz Ferdinand have expanded their sound while continuing to keep some of their brit classic spirit in tact with this single. The vocals really deliver and seem to remind me of Fujiya & Miyagi at first listen. [...]

Welcome to my newfound guilty pleasure wednesday. I'll post a new track every wednesday that I'm not exactly stoked I'm currently into. (i.e. I turn it down in the car at red lights when my window's down.) This weeks winner....... > The Killers - Spaceman Oh, The Killers. Every single they regurgitate seems to be catchier. This catchy little bitch from their new Day & Age album is formulated for success. Ohh-ohh-oh intro, verse, followed by 2 fuckin' pre-choruses just to make you beg for the chorus release. And [...]

Bored...here is some neat stuff that's been peaking my interest: >Tobacco - Truck Sweat Fun Electronic project from the frontman of Black Moth Super Rainbow . It's got a great groove and I love an instrumental with a mind boggling track title. It becomes the only lyric you have to associate diction with the music. So I guess this is what Truck Sweat sounds like. Dope. >Dillinger Four - Ode To the North American [...]

Saw Of Montreal at the Palladium last saturday. It was theatrical to say the least. Here are some highlights. Wicked Wisdom A Sentence of Sorts And....their encore was a cover of Franz Ferdinand "Take Me Out" followed by Nirvana "Smells Like Teen Sprirt." Both were perfect. Unfortunately I couldn't find Smells Like Teen Spirit but here is "Take Me Out." Good [...]

So the winner of Radiohead's aniboom contest for the video to "Weird Fishes / Arpeggi" has a winner! Tobias Stetch! Yay! This is some seriously fucked up, crazy shit. I love it. Stretch won 10 grand for his winning entry. I love how eyes pop out whenever Thom says "Eyes."

Frightened Rabbit came out of the Scotch Mist (Radiohead pun) this year with "Midnight Organ Fight" and it royally kicked ass. I do believe it's technically the best album of the year as of November. Which doesn't leave much time for it to be beat. I mean, what is going to be better? The new Kanye? HA! Anyway here is the new Frightened Rabbit track. As expected, its full of jangly accoustic guitars and ends with beautiful background vox. It's lyrics paint a sad portrait of a love lost as Frightened Rabbit always beautifully exibits. Check it out. [...]
