As I said the whole family shall be repping with... Stagga Bodhi elmono Kaptin Is Dead [...]
Chrome Kids Radio Show (Mar - April 2013) by Chrome Kids on Mixcloud I still struggle when trying to describe what it is we play on the show, but as we step into spring whilst still in the grip of a bitter winter it starts to make ever more sense. For those non commital types amongst you, here's a selection of tracks from the show. If you dig them, chances are the show was made just for you.

Just saw a Tweet from Kastle saying that Bodhi's new Justin Timberlake booty has been smashing up SXSW. Exciting news, somebody invite them over for next year! Grab yourselves a copy if you don't have it already.

Those of you who actually read these posts may remember us mentioning one of our family members called elmono the other day. Well we can now let you know that his 'debut' outing will be the first release on Pinch's new Cold Recordings label and that he shall be playing in the Tectonic hosted Room 2 at Fabric this Friday. For a taster of what to expect, check out his Fabriclive Promo mix below and a mini interview with him over on the Fabric site .

From our extended family comes Blured. A compadre of the Chrome Kids for many years, he has just released a vinyl only monster of a Techno tune in the shape of 'It's Quite'. It provides the 1st outing for label YCO, which is run by another group of our boys from back in Cardiff (also the crew behind the excellent City Bass nights). You seriously need to check the swagger on this track. It's already been getting heavy rotation from Martyn, Jackmaster, Boddika, Gingy and Bordello.

With their 'Culture' EP riding high on the playlists of Skream, Gilles Peterson, FaltyDL, Machinedrum and Rob Da Bank amongst many others, we shall forgive Bodhi for missing a month in their monthly Groove Series (they did slip out a Mixmag mix instead to be fair). This is another killer mix of Housey, Garagey vibes from the boys, much in keeping with its name.

Individually, our boys Stagga & Monky are two of the country's finest producers. Together they're insane... literally. Before Monky finally drops his lifelong moniker to become elmono , the pair have released a new 4 track EP of bass heavy, glitched up goodness. In Stagga 's words "its a bit mental but does have its more soft and romantic moments." STAGGA & MONKY _4 by STAGGA / MONKY
Been a while since we posted anybody else's dope videos up here so... We've always had love for the Seclusiasis label on here but this video from Warsnare and Fille de la Lune properly blew me away. Not heard the EP yet but I'm off to get a copy as soon as I've written this post. Dark moody swagged out business from Black Dahlia, a dope new project from one of our favourite producers, Blue Daisy and rapper Hey!Zeus. This is probably our favourite thing right now. [...]
Well looks like we've got a load of catching up to do in regards to the Bodhi boys, can't keep up with them! So just in case you haven't been keeping an eye, here's a few things they've been up to recently. First of all is their new single 'Culture / Deliquesce' on Sinden's 'Grizzly' label which dropped this week along with this video for 'Culture'. The video is a collaboration with Chrome Kids resident artiste, Snowskull and the EP itself has been getting some major love from the likes of Skream, FaltyDL, Giles Peterson, [...]
He might be the silent partner on the Chrome Kids Radio Show but as well as being a damn fine artist, Snowskull is one of the family's true musical connoisseurs. Here he compiles his Top 10 Tunes for 2012. John Talabot - So Will Be Now Session Victim - The Haunted House Bwana - Baby Let Me Finish(Black Orange Juice Remix) Rumpistol & Red Baron - Anywhere Anywhere by [...]
Kaptin Is Dead - Reflections 2012 by Kaptinisdead on Mixcloud We haven't done any 'best of' this year but Kaptin has put together a 'reflection selection' for 2012. Here's what he said about it. "As I enter the final stages of the roller coaster ride that was 2012 I've left little time to consider a 'best of mix' really, with such a good year for music it might possibly last til 2014 anyway. [...]
As always, there were a few tracks put aside for the show which we just couldn't fit into the final 58mins. We never like to keep tracks til the next fortnight as there's always so many to choose from anyway, so here's a selection of those that we had to miss. Some warm and jazzy autumnal Soul from Canadian singer Claire Mortifee, produced by Nick Wisdom & AstroLogical aka Potatohead People. This track also features on their excellent 3rd EP out on Jellyfish Recordings, whose other guests include rappers Moka Only and Frank Nitt (Frank [...]

Bad Panda Records just dropped the latest tune from Bodez, aka Chrome Kids founder Kaptin and fellow CK family member Leon Piers (aka Falcon Lake, also half of 22/22). It's little deeper and techy than most of their other work (more in line with some of the Falcon Lake material) but it's still grimey round the edges and has a killer bounce to it too. It's a free download so play it, pawn it and pimp it to the world.

Two of the newest members of the Chrome Kids family have their debut single out via Push & Run on Monday, complete with cover art from our very own SnowSkull. Getting much love for their ShadowBox remix and The xx bootleg , Bodhi are already two of our favourite producers (and DJs after their killer set last Friday) currently making noise out of the Welsh capital and lovely fellas to boot.
Chrome Kids Radio Show: August 20th 2012 by Chrome Kids on Mixcloud Big shouts to anyone who came down to The Plough in Bristol at the weekend. Was a great night and everybody (Jauge, Bodhi, Corner & Kaptin Is Dead) smashed it with their sets. We might just come back for round 2 in the future. However it started off a long and messy [...]
Chrome Kids Radio Show: August 6th 2012 by Chrome Kids on Mixcloud In the latest show we have some killer combos as Suzi Analogue + Tokimonsta join forces to unleash their Analogue Monsta album on the world and Jessie Boykins III + Melo-X give us a taster of their upcoming collaboration on Ninja Tune. On the remix tip: Shlohmo takes on his [...]
Chrome Kids Radio Show: July 23rd 2012 by Chrome Kids on Mixcloud This fortnight's show has a bunch of great remixes: Exeter fiddles with Sizarr, ARP101 touches up Slugabed, Face & Heel tweak Py's buttons a litle and our very own Bodhi gets full on Shades of Grey with The xx. Plus some new artists on the radar such as Julien [...]
