I thought last night might be a quieter one at Gigantic. I’m not sure where I got that idea from, but I was very, very wrong. I can’t remember a time when so many of my favourite DJs have played in Belfast in such a short space of time. Today has been all about BBC 6 Music , the best digital radio station on the planet. In the short time I had it on today it provided one of the most best soundtracks I could ever have wished for. LCD Soundsystem, Villagers, Holy Ghost!, Talking Heads, The Black Keys and more all blasting out. It's the radio station that I think all 'the kids' should listen to. Last night go off to a weird start. Due to late running taxis (on account of the current ‘protests’ happening all across Northern Ireland) the Christmas dinner parties who were booked in to the venue before the club were all still eating when I arrived.
