Hi folks! As you might have noticed, this blog is kinda DEAD. It's not sad, it was on time. We just stopped blogging, that's all. Thanks to everyone who have visited us, and if you miss me, check out the fashion-and-art-blog Starfish & Pink Clouds , where I'll be posting some tunes every once in a while. Starfish & Pink Clouds Bye!

So, this is what's happening with the Late Night Laptop Lads: Edvard has started producing/remixing his own tracks (they're pretty awesome), and I'm still writing a blog that now has over 9 000 visitors (thanks). Anyway, Ed got together with the Norwegian FINAL and now they have done the best remix of Major Lazer's Pon de Floor . Imagine a cool remix of the track, and I'll promise you this is better. Your neighbours should hate me for this (and it's 320): Major Lazer - Pon de Floor (Final x Edvard [...]

Little Boots' next single Remedy will released on August 17th, including remixes by A1 Bassline, Buffetlibre and the dubstep-god Rusko. The video is already released on youtube by Little Boots herself, and I must say I like it way better than the New In Town video. Rusko never disappoints me, and I'm glad we finally can enjoy a 320 MP3 of this, and delete the old radio rip. Little Boots - Remedy (Rusko's Big Trainers Remix) Move over to Disco Dust to download the [...]

2manydjs have been killing it this summer with their DJ/Video show, and one track that really dug into my brain was their own edit of Dizzee Rascal and Armand Van Helden's Bonkers. Finally, the track is released, and you can buy it from iTunes. If you live in Belgium. All others will have to wait and enoy the youtube vid instead! If you've missed their hit parade live, be sure to download this to know what you missed: 2manydjs - Live from Rock Werchter 2009 [...]

To be honest, I've never been that much interested in Felix da Housecat until now. I really enjoyed Kittenz and Thee Glitz , but I haven't really checked out his later stuff. That was until I heard Kickdrum and Elvi$ and found out I really had missed something. Felix' new album He Was King is a great mix of pure electro synth-pop ( Do We Move Your World , Spank U Very Much and We ) and club bangers ( Elvi$ and LA Ravers ). I think that [...]

I'm back after some weeks without Internet connection! And in the meanwhile, Google has taken down some posts, and the blog looks kinda dull. But don't worry; my inbox is full of tunes you want to hear. The Sydney-based R!M!E has made the first decent remix of Major Lazer's hit Pon De Floor . It sounds great if you mix it with the original (I just tried). Major Lazer - Pon De Floor (R!M!E Remix) I've been waiting for a release date for Kid Sister's debut album [...]

I'm home from Denmark, and I forgot that my last post was the 100th from the Late Night Laptop Lads ! So let's celebrate today instead, with some songs and mixes that have been stuck in my mind the last days, and some nice tunes that have dropped in our inbox the last week. Tracklistings for the mixes in the comments. Caspa - Radio 1 Essential Mix July 2009 Franz Ferdinand - No You Girls (Foamo Remix) Emil & Friends - Girlfriend on [...]

So, I thought I might start a new trend and put up a list of my monthly favourites. I don't think I'll be posting links to them (if I haven't already posted them here), so you should check them out on YouTube, Spotify, or some other blogs, and buy them if you like them. Enjoy! 1. D.I.M & TAI - Lyposuct (Original Mix) 2. Renaissance Man - What Is Guru (Original Mix) 3. AC Slater - Calm Down 4. Coki - [...]
I'm in Denmark, and the sun is shining. It's actually one of those days where I really enjoy some trance. Paul Oakenfold's new album Perfecto Vegas drops today, and to warm you up, heres a sweet video and a teaser mix! Oakenfold: On Tour in South America from Thrive Records on Vimeo . Perfecto Vegas Teaser Mix I'm off to the beach!

Tomorrow I'm finally starting my vacation. I'm going to Denmark for a week, so I don't know if there will be much blogging the next week. To make it up, this post will be bigger than usually. Grab these tunes and have a lovely holyday! MSTRKRFT - Heartbreaker (Featuring John Legend) (Laidback Luke Remix) Little Boots - Remedy (A1 Bassline Get Hype Remix) Skream - 8:B-low Fever Ray - Triangle Walks (Rex The Dog Edit) [...]

Yesterday I got to see my all time favourite DJ-duo live for the first time at Oslo Live festival . 2manydjs are some of the best DJs in the world when it comes to mixing genres. It's not often you get to hear David Bowie, Gossip, AC/DC, Daft Punk, Queen, Tiga, The Clash and Major Lazer in one set, all with their covers animated on a big screen. This was by far the best DJ-set I've ever witnessed, and if you have the opportunity to see them this summer, they should not be missed. [...]

This collab by Diplo and Laidback Luke have been out in the blogosphere for a while (but I don't think it's officially released yet..?). The original is good enough, but some remixes are way better. This one got released through RCRD LBL today, and it's all I want from a song like this. Diplo & Laidback Luke - Hey! (Bombaman Remix)

RT @ oizo3000 MY N.A.S.A. REMIX IS ONLINE I think Twitter is the new place to find blogable tunes. Mr. Oizo shares his remix of N.A.S.A.'s Strange Enough , and I love it. [...]

Just got an e-mail from Death to the Throne. As usually, his own description describes the song best: waddup? here's something new that i made. it's a "re-remix" of the lykke li song "little bit", not to be confused with the other little bit remix i've made. and now your wondering "another lykke li remix?" and then i reply in my angry samuel l. jackson [...]

Sometimes you get something from reading the Ed Banger-blog Cool Cats . Some days ago, DJ Mehdi posted a remix he did of Crookers ' Embrace The Martian that never got released. This is what Mehdi himself writes about it: A-Trak asked me to do it for a possible Fools Gold release of this baby, around September 2008. I guess, by the time I got to finish this (which I never really did), them crooks and the Cleveland kid were touching the stratosphere with their 'Day and Night' bomb, and thus never [...]

Art via Bomber og Granater The Swedish indie-rockers Peter Bjorn and John are one of the bands that really define summer music. And when they also have been remixed by the likes of Diplo, Beyond The Wizards Sleeve and Golden Filter, they're what Carles would refer to ass 'highly blogable'. So, when this was released through RCRD LBL today, I couldn't do anything but to blog it. The remix is by the New York based The Knocks . [...]

The king of pop is dead. Micael Jackson has made some of the greatest pop songs ever, and he will be remembered forever as the man behind the best selling album of all time, Thriller . Michael is a big influence to all artists today, from all different generes, and he will always be. The world will miss him. Will someone ever make pop music with basslines this funky again? Michael Jackson - Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'

Because you like Girl Talk , you like Super Mash Bros too. As their name tells you, they mash up, and they do it well. The tracks floats as they should, and the samples are many and well known. Yesterday, they released their second album All About The Scrillions on their facebook fanpage . It's only 32 minutes, but it's free and super funny. Super Mash Bros. - NPH FTW Super Mash Bros. - Bruce Willis Was Dead The Whole Time [...]
