Jewelry is one of the things most people invest on. Their value usually increases as they age. Those which were produced during the 1930s to 1950s are considered antique and they are expensive. Because of this, people collect different kinds of antiques. Collectors should take utmost care when buying antique rings and other jewelries because some people will take advantage of a person's lack of knowledge regarding antiques. There are people who offer fake antique gold rings. A thorough scrutiny on the item will keep one from being fooled by these forgers. A jewelry that is antique is [...]
There are many social agencies that you can choose from if you are looking to find an advertising partner that can help you establish your company's name and be recognized by the most number of customers possible. However, keep in mind that not all social media agencies can provide you with the exposure you need for your business, and so you would have to be careful in hiring the NJ social media agency you want to work with. One of the first things that you have to consider when looking for a social media agency to provide your [...]

Just a little heads up on a great Swedish web radio for those who are not already familiar with it. Founded by Tommy Ericsson in 2008, Gimme Indie focuses on alternative music mainly from Sweden, UK, and USA. It airs 24/7 and you can stream it via the website player or through several applications that I know next to nothing about. That's it, go listen! Mogwai - Rano Pano by I Am The Crime

While going through a stack of CDs earlier this week I found the 2009 debut album of Emma-Lee (reviewed here ), which made me curious of what she was up to nowadays. Lo and behold, only a day or two later I get an e-mail about her upcoming album and a new song. Turns out Emma-Lee will release her second full-length Backseat Heroine this fall. The accompanying song - "Not Coming By" - is simply a previously unreleased track according to her website, but its tags imply that it will be on the upcoming album. Whatever the [...]

Imagine how lucky I felt when I was sent the brand new Well, I Don't See Why Not compilation! I love the two previous ones and volume 3 is no exception: full of funny, kooky, weird, beautiful, and awesome music. Purchase via bandcamp [...]

I can't seem to make up my mind about Doctors & Dealers (aka one-woman band Sparrow). On one hand I find myself annoyed at her meek voice and broken accent (which is hypocritical considering I'm also Swedish and probably sound the same when I speak English, but whatever), on the other I find the music to be perfectly pleasant to tap along to. My review of her previous EP Trouble was pretty brutal, but I stand by it. It really was in one ear and out the other. Nevertheless, Every Sinner Has a Future [...]

The fabulous Britt over at An Emotional Reaction is running a series of interviews with female music bloggers, and I got the honor to be the first one in line. You can read it here . Try not to cringe too much at my answers, okay? ~ Miss Li - "I Heard Of A Girl" ~

~ Twiggy Frostbite - "By The Ocean" ~ No known format of release as of now.

In my initial profile post on The Blueflowers , I described their 2009 debut album Watercolor Ghost Town as "a stunning tale of love, life and heartbreak" and "an absolute gem". I still stand by this and can gladly report that these descriptions also apply to the follow-up, In Line With The Broken-Hearted . Once again I'm seduced by the blend of Gothic alt-country and folk, Kate Hinote's lush vocal, and cinematic visions ranging from couples slow dancing at a 1950s high school prom to lonely cowboys riding off into the sunset. Herein lies [...]

~ Palpitation - "We Don't Need To, We Don't Have To" ~ From the album I'm Absent, You're Faraway , release date June 1st, 2011, via Luxury .

I very much enjoyed Katie Stelmanis' debut Join Us (you can read my review here ) and am glad she's back, even if in a slightly different form. No longer solo, Katie has teamed up with fellow Canadians Maya Postepski and Dorian Wolf to create AUSTRA . The sound is still very much like Katie's debut - sharp, cold, experimental electronica ladened with Ms. Stelmanis' classically trained voice. The major difference is perhaps that AUSTRA is slightly less experimental in the sense that the songs are more accessible regarding the melodies, sometimes echoing Depeche Mode's Black Celebration [...]

~ Friska Viljor - "Larionov" ~ From the upcoming album The Beginning of the Beginning of the End .

A concept album about a fictional game show that takes place in the 1970s might sound a bit strange, but Television City by L.A. band Liz Pappademas and The Level couldn't be further from that. With the piano, tale-telling lyrics and Liz's voice as the main driving forces, it's actually beautiful, soothing, lush, and really rather intriguing. Apparently the idea of the concept came from a song that didn't end up on the album, but nevertheless made Liz think of "the characters that might be involved in a game show and how they might [...]

Korallreven 's single "Honey Mine" (with Taken By Trees ' Victoria Bergsman on vocals) was apparently such a success that it has now been extended to an EP , featuring remixes by Lissvik, Memoryhouse, Nacho Lovers and the duo themselves. Two of the remixes have been available for free, and I must say that I especially like Memoryhouse 's dreamy take on the song, but Korallreven's own renamed version is pretty sweet too. ~ "Honey Mine" (Memoryhouse remix) , "Shine On" (Korallreven remix) ~
