This past weekend The Poison Control Center celebrated the release of their forthcoming album, Sad Sour Future (Out May 18th), by having three CD release shows in Iowa. Pictured above is band member Pat hanging upside down while performing at the M-Shop ! These guys are heading on tour June 10th and I would definitely check them out if you get the chance because they put on a killer show! Click here for a full list of their tour dates.

The Poison Control Center's new album, Sad Sour Future , is not available until May 18th... HOWEVER if you are in Iowa you will be able to pick it up at the Vaudeville Mews in Des Moines on April 30, the M-Shop in Ames on May 1st, and The Mill in Iowa City on May 2nd! The Poison Control Center were featured in the latest issue of Cityview Magazine; Central Iowa's Independent Weekly. The article includes an interview with Patrick from the band. "Hard For You", from One For The Team's latest album Ghosts , was included today on USA Today podcast Pop Candy . The author, Whitney Matheson, describes the mix as a collection of her favorite new tunes and goes on to say "Hard For You" is "a track that'll make you pump your fist and help you get through the rest of the day."
