Jaga Jazzist started out in Tonsberg (a small town outside Oslo) in 1994 at which time Lars Horntveth (the main songwriter in Jaga) was only 14 years old! In 2001 they released their debut album ³A Livingroom Hush² on Warner in Scandinavia to massive critical acclaim and great sales (the album sold over 15000 copies in Norway alone..). Metzanima is a project created by Gonzalo Laserna and Alejandro Ahumada in 2003, which in 2004 turned into a solo project for Gon. Gon was born in Stockholm-Sweden but with Bolivian/Greek roots. Turning 14 he moved to Bolivia where he started as a Dj in La Paz mixing Goa/Psytrance. After 7 years in Bolivia he returned to Sweden where he studied sound engineering. OMR are a newly-formed European duo who have entered into an already overpopulated musical space, that of electro-infused pop music. Have been listening to a lot of Tsuji Ayano recently especially the Summer single entitled "Shiny Day". She's most famous for singing the song 風��る (Kaze ni Naru). I find that its extremely hard, if not impossible to get her albums and singles outside Japan because her record label Victor Entertainment doesn't distribute her stuff outside Japan. But definately you can get Tsuji Ayano's imported CDs made in Japan from sites such as Yesasia and CDJapan at VERY expensive prices. Here's a musician who's based in Kanto area, Japan and uses ACID & Alesis ION to contruct most of the tracks. All the tracks are really unique and will most probably remind you of those early 90s game soundtracks. Many of the tracks have a light groove to it is extremely easy on the ears.
