Pumpin' raw Chi-house vibes on this big release just in time for summer. "Opening with a repeated voice sample, rare toms and a nostalgic pad, this epic beatless intro builds up like a 19802s spaghetti western soundtrack just to drop one minute later into one of the rawest hard hitting house tracks you'll see around in a while. But don't be too quick to make judgments: the abundance of sonic elements in this tune sounds very refreshing in the era of looped house and techno — and those ruthless ravey keys add up oh so well to the picture." Here is the amazing mix we played on RinseFM last night by Staffan Lindberg . We were massively impressed when we caught him at both Panorama Bar and Berns in Stockholm with his unique blend of break-y blends and heavy 4×4 cuts. His productions have also been a common inclusion in our sets with big releases on Dolly Music and a killer remix on Ostgut springing to mind. So happy to have him on the show, listen up below...the full 2 hours with the first from us is [...]
Drew Sky back with some heavy hittin' Dance Mania business... some sample laid mpc jamz in-fact. Pure filthy cutz which sound kinda like Mr Fingers' " can you feel it ", or prob some other juno bass. Chiwax repressed this one along with a few others, see if you can track on down... GHETTO BEATZ!
Great remix EP that just DROPPED from the main man Will Saul, under his other alias Close on K7!. The EP has a killer original and ace mixes from Dusky and Midland. But gotta say I love this one for different reasons, kinda just uses the vocal to full effect... almost like a vibe tool. No Kick... Just a sleazed out waling synths, and stripped out guitar plucks a la the xx with heavy spacey reverb. simple Wibezzzz.
Amazing ambient breaky groves from the Lunar Disko crew which dropped last year...quite hypnotising and a good dash of old-school feel about this one... late night or on a sunny day this one works for me!
Some crew love here with the huge and long awaited first release on Tief. For those that haven't heard of Tief it's one of London's finest club nights that happens at Corsia Studios. The first release sees local boyz Sisterhood stepping up to the plate, with 2 original productions and remixes from JuJu & Jordash and Arttu. It's petty hard to choose our favourite as all tracks seem to have their own selling point across the set... but I have to say on the floor this one just works, magical dubby synths combined with the bumpin' bassline and heavy perc are [...]
One of my allll time gems... seen it just recently got a re-release. 2-step ambient space funk, with a sick-as-fuck bassline! This was our 2nd last tune at Panorama Bar at 8.50am sunday morning... amazing vibe with the light peaking through the shutters on that huge system, still gives me goosebumps!
Doug this funk-worm a few weeks back, and still does the business! So so heavy balanced withe the Pepe funk factor and use of delicate pads... Defo a Space Dimension Controller vibe to it for me, also a touch of Kyle Hall pumpin' grit... unreal track!
Todd Terry on a slammin' tip... yea well one of his best, or anyway our favourites. I looked to put this up  on facebook after it tore the roof of the Warehouse Project last year but there was nothing even online... finally got round to rippin' some so here ya go! choppy sloppy pump!
Another MF remix from the vaults, 062 infact...released on the amazing Permanent Vacation. For me its all about 3.15 in when than bassline kicks in is absolute dirt, proper rollin arp bass only he can execute with such finess... Amazing stuff
Heavy 90s jack! Another ghetto Dance Mania gem from the '96 Ep, Still Smoking 2 Dis II -  quite fitting considering its recent reincarnation too! Big looping sampled house made the way it should be. The hats in this are pure filth, summer is coming!

Amazing new release of haunting italo greatness...Alessandro Parisi recorded this album just with a Roland TR-707 and a Roland JX-3P. "Cold weather electronics. Fog and darkness surrounds the place to this day and deeply pervades this record: the history of a city called Draconia. Who will do wrong shall not be forgiven." Limited to 250 copies, it comes in a red vinyl double 12-inch outfit. you can listen to the whole album here
This month on our Rinse.FM show we had a special guest mix from The Black Madonna. We first caught her play during her residency at Smart bar in Chicago where she was setting the room off with a unique blend of sliced up disco and ghetto techno... everything I expected from one of America's historic house-music cities.  Her productions have also gained much praise at the bicep towers, most recently with cuts on Chopped & Screwed ... and below the latest on Home Taping which has just dropped with a remix from the Revenge. This mix is quintessentially Chicago and [...]
Laid back sleaze from Metro Area, perfect for the sunshine vibes. Looking forward to them dropping by at our party on May 5th in London, where they will be doing their first live show in over a decade. TICKETS HERE.
Combining an array of Glasgow based live acts, Lovers' Rights is made up of Dam Mantle  and duo Silk Cut (also in Golden Teacher  - the disco band who recently had a sell out debut release on Optimo Music in a matter of days, and who destroyed Corsica Studios in their debut London show). These boys normally only play live, so its pretty special to get a vinyl only DJ mix out of them, and as you would expect its a very interesting listen. Their Lovers' Rights EP, released on Glasgow's High Sheen is out [...]
A huuuuggge tune to get you sliding into the weekend here, a techno/filtered house hybrid kinda thing from a couple of years ago, the A1 is equally as pumpin', just more stripped back and heads down. Unbelievably huge sound whatever bracket you put these in, destroyer alert! Always at Night (A2) Play Records (A1)
Take a hit, smoke 'at shit, do tha' jit!
Sounds like a lost disco cut from the 70s no-one ever knew existed... from the first drop of that bassline it just blows your mind. Crafted to perfection, too much to love... blissed out summer greatness. Doesn't even kick off till near 4 mins in... so good
A tune we've been asked about a good few times. What's the track with the vocal 'you've got what I want, you've got what I need?' The OG was a biggie back in the day and had a bit of a resurgence with the help of Four Tet's Fabriclive and the UKG revival. Here's a few versions to keep it interesting, the Krush Groove esp! OG FEAR 2 (KRUSH GROOVE REMIX) EDIT EDIT [...]
