We are big fans of Larry, as you can probably tell by a simple search back through our larder of tasty meaty beat treats. The flickering, shimmering vibes of this dreamy house track helped secure it on a high pedestal up near the heavens, but fuck me heaven ain't cheap, some shmuck is trying to sell it on Discogs for 800 notes, might go knock him up a new pair of balls, wimp. Ace little pop track I haven't been able to get out of my head all week. Swedish native Soso has created quite the unique blend of sounds, for me I get lots of Jan Hammer and Depeche mode vibes...which can only be a good thing. Good industrial pop looks like it may have a covergirl to lead the revival.

Got an exclusive and quite beautiful re-work courtesy of Australia's most Fantastic Man, Mic Newman . One thing you are always guaranteed with this guy is 100% smooth burners and this is no exception. Ozzing with deep vibes from that grooving bassline, chilling rhodes keys and the hazy vocals, this will make quite a few appearances this summer! MIC NEWMAN | LEASURE PLEASURE [...]

Little remix we did for Chamboche last year sees the light of day. Way more on the cosmic side of things we have have been baking for the last while, hope you like it. Over here on SOUNDCLOUD .

Rad new track out now on the formidable Dirt Crew imprint. Tainted the old-school house and garage glory in equal measures...this hits pretty heavy with a pulsing sine-y bass topped with some deep whaling vocal flourishes. Hats off, this dude is only 18, expect big tings ;) BUY HERE

Seminal house classic given a really nice and subtle remix from one of NYC's finest Justin Strauss back in 1990. Sounding fresher than it did 20 years ago I still can't get enough of those pads, I think 808 state single handed-ly inspired a new generation of emotive house producers... From the notes "Pacific 0101, 212, and 516 are Justin Strauss remixes which all use the clarinet and loon samples from 202, but restore and more prominently feature the original bassline, and use percussion more akin to [...]

Yes It's a monday morning but I don't feel rough at all. Why? Because I'm the fucking king. This is New York City... it's 1985 baby, no time for sleep, time is money. I'm top of the world, my bank account is spilling over and I throw away my Chanel briefs after one wear. Why? Because I'm the fucking king, I told you.

Things got a little house heavy on FMB recently, which is good (as we mostly play house music) but time for something a little more worldly! Here we've got an effortlessly cool edit from Lebaron, reworking music legend Serge Gainsbourgh. Fans of Gilles Peterson will be loving this! Brup!

Mesmerising sombre Detroit techno at it's finest here from Claude Young, in our opinion one of the finest techno producers ever. I don't think he gets all the credit he deserves sometimes, whilst he's a legend in the eyes of many (mostly the heads) he does sometimes get overshadowed by Jeff Mills and the scenes old school 'heavyweights'. If you haven't been checking out his many many many amazing tunes - do so now san. DOWNLOAD

We really don't post tracks with hype surrounding them very often, but this really is rather special. The final track in John Talabot's new album 'Fin' out on Perm vac earlier this week. No doubt this will be in the running for one of the tunes of the year...complete and utter bliss. It builds and builds into a smoldering melancholic masterpiece! Show support and pick up the (outstanding) album from all the usuals!

So simple yet so infectious. Absolute bliss from Ron Trent back in niney'five! I've really love the heavy, honest & hearty straight up house vibes on any Trent jam! On repeat! DOWNLOAD

As you can tell from our previous posts, we are big fans of Paul Johnson, even though it does mean trawling through the masses of tracks he has made to find the proper meat. Big big use of the sampler, and very much a trade mark case of speeding up disco loop and adding some pumping kicks... but the uptempo, heavy funk that comes out of this makes this all ok. This track is proper 90s heat, dropped at the right time, it can cause devastation, throw it in, throw it out ;) [...]

"WHEN THE MUSIC TAKES YOU HIGH, WHEN THE MUSIC TAKES YOU HIGH, WHEN THE MUSIC TAKES YOU HIGH, WHEN THE MUSIC TAKES YOU HIGH" Bit of an anthem for me, ever since hearing it on Tony Humphries 'Moments in House' cd I was hooked. I find it hard not to listen tot the whole thing once I start, probably cause i know whats coming. The wild pitch bass sound is really doing it for me at the moment, sound refreshing how nasty it is with a wash of sine-y basses and mr fingers esq squares. This [...]

Been noticing a lot of 'Nice n Ripe' tracks getting played out recently, makes sense with the deep NY garage sound making a comeback. This is one of the tougher cuts in my bag, can work a house crowd and the garage heads equally as well. RICKY SUAREZ | TONITE (AS RUFF AS U LIKE DUB)

The Mystery mix on the legendary Dj History is back up and running they kindly asked us to do a mix for the series. Here it is, anyone who has seen us play over the last few months will recognise most of em. Go over HERE for the tracklisting. DOWNLOAD

Wow it aint often you get 3 hours of pumpin Kenlou in you're ears. RBMA caught Kenny and Louie live in the mix in San Francisco blessing us with an epic 3-hour back-to-back session. Plenty of bozak and vibes. HUGE! <!-- <!-- <!--

Killer jam from 972 that I just got reminded about by the TOB bossman. The Studio 54-remix is based around a sample (loop) from Lou Rawls "You'll never find another love like mine" . Very cleverly used and hardly even re-cognizable, almost in a "wild pitch'-kinda style with tonnes of ghetto disco grit. Hypnotic and yes, pure House! GREEN VELVET | NEVER SATISFIED (STUDIO 54 REMIX)

Next up on the FMB mix series is a master class from the resident of UK's longest running disco night, Melting Pot . Come March, MP is reaching the stern old age of 11... (Gary Glitter would be loving this shit) To celebrate this birthday the mighty Danny Krivit is headlining this truly awesome party... definitely worth the effort. Simon's introduction to this insanely meaty mix says it all, plain and simple! "It's a good old fashioned stompathon..." [...]

Found this tune on the delectable http://yingyangs.blogspot.com/ a while back and thought I'd share. One of my favourites of the Editions Disco series, always goes down well epically when you play the Frenchkiss mix by accident which i have done manys a time ;) a genius reworking of Gary Low's "I Want You" , the Italo-disco track that is the sampled basis for Washed Out's chillwave anthem "Feel It All Around" . The original is a wicked slice of Italo built on a punchy synth bassline that would be equally at home in a [...]
