London based, Sea Stacks , have self-released their debut single The High Tide today. They have deliberately turned the traditional indie-band setup on it’s head; removing all guitars and keyboards and replacing them with sweeping strings, lush woodwinds and brass to create their own brand of orchestral indie. The High Tide is an upbeat, yet melancholic song with uplifting, perfectly melodic choruses and bubbling layers of percussion.
