Disconnected Audio is a new Sydney based label run by Dopamine , a well established producer who has dabbled with many genres but has now finally come back to his techno roots. There's already buzz regarding Disconnected's upcoming releases, which is little wonder with the early roster of artists including the likes of Meat Katie and Magic Johnson. Wow. Well, the Loops of Fury are clearly MASSIVE favourites around these parts, and with their brand new remix for the Plump DJs new label, GRAND HOTEL, they have smashed it clean out of the ballpark with this remix. Apparently there were issues getting clearance for the epic Chaka Khan sample on this track, which is a bona fide tragedy as it would have been a huge track on the likes of Beatport ... but their loss is our gain [...]

Sometimes being a DJ is such a damned privilege. That was most definitely the way I felt in Prague this Saturday night just gone. I'd heard things from friends of mine about the Cross Club, but I wasn't really prepared for the sheer scale of invention that this club boasts from basement to top floor. The General (as he likes to be known around these parts) is BACK once again, and this time he brings Powerchords. Tai's 'Powerchords' that is ... for those who don't know that much about Tai (where the f*ck have you been) he's recently remixed the likes of Sharam Jay, Tomcraft, DJ Godfather and Coburn and has collaborated with the likes of Tim Healey, and most notably D.I.M. with who he produced the marvellous 'Lyposuct' on BoysNoize records last year (and in doing so provided them with about the only thing worth listening to for a good 18 months!). Paul Baxter - 2010 Tech:Funk Odyssey Paul Baxter has been DJ'ing for a few years now, as a solo artist and as one half of Twisted Sounds, racking up a slew of regular gigs in London/Brighton and notable opening sets for Hybrid and Sister Bliss at Ministry Of Sound along the way.
