I know I did a post fairly recently on Phaeleh , which means that I should probably wait a bit before giving the guy more praise, but I came across a guest mix that he did for K Mag online the other day and it blew me away, so I just had to put it on LTT! Expertly blended together to create a seamless flow, Phaeleh has put together what I'm sure is the best mix I've heard in a while. Also came across another cheeky DnB remix of an indie classic, this time in the form of production machine Alix Perez ' take on the XX's "Shelter". Also starting off on a half-step tip and again incorporating the original version impeccably, this spells signature Perez throughout. Using his trademark deep and minimal groove that we've come to know him for, his growling yet distinctively smooth basslines and atmospheric soundscapes, this is Perez at his best. It really reminds me of his track Myriads from the seminal album "1984". Definitely one for the dancefloor! Love it!

Found this tidy half-step DnB remix of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep", by none other than top flight production duo SpectraSoul . Not altering the original too much, and incorporating their trademark moving, emotive basslines along with a super clean beat pattern and some superb synth work too, the guys have come up with a real gem here. Evidently influenced by their track from a few years back Melodies , and DBridge & Instra:mental 's early Autonomic stuff, this is pure lushness. And a wicked vid too! Enjoy!

Obviously not trying to showcase the Sky Is Pink (Holden remix) as it is old but absolutely amazing. What I am trying to showcase though, is that these 2 fiends are playing at one of my favourite clubs in the country in 2 weeks time, 18th Feb 2011 @ Bristols Thekla.
