This song's been tickling my tastebuds for a while now. The more I listen to it the more wrapped I am. And who couldn't be into a music made by a bloke named Alt Altman (really?) you can't beat that combo. Kind of like Bravestation, kind of like Galapaghost (only replace the ukelele with a synth) but the subtones are there in the music. So bring it on, another Class Actress post. This one's just like her others: upbeat synthpop with calming vocals that induce a head-bopping state - beware. Best thing I like is how Elizabeth breaks up the normal flow of the song with her breathy lyrics being pushed out as if they're trying to clutch to the back of her vocal chords. This Cassian remix breathes new life into the original from the London 5piece.  A kid of hopeful daytime ballad with all those poppy 80s hooks you'd come to expect from Cut Copy or Empire of the Sun or any popular dance/house outfit of the past few years. Saw these guys at Laneway and they were alright. No where near as much presence as their studio effort though which was a shame. I think it was the size of the crowd (yep, indie kids love cults), or the heat, or the weird stage (this was in a giant shed with people walking through from set to set) or a combination of jet lag and any of the aforementioned factors. This song means a bit to me Was played at sunset sounds a few years ago (awesome mosh there, not this track but later on) and all in all it's the lyrics really that mean a lot.
