Off MGMT's 2010 album Congratulations , 'Siberian Breaks' is an adventurous tune that conjures visions of foofy flower dresses and 70's San Fran swagger. I've heard a few attempts at coining one and none of them sound quite right. If you've been on the Beatport electro house chart in the last six months, trust me you've heard it. Today we have two stellar songs from Cherry Chapstick , a three-piece band from Kingston, Ontario (or Montreal, depending on who you ask). Formed in the spring of 2009 by Julian Flavin, Evan Mullen, and Nigel Ward, they have a self described sound of "your mum running a bath at 9 in the evening as you lay in bed a nervous 6 year old child."
