Anybody who's followed Coldplay or Joe Satriani for any period of time recently has already heard about the lawsuit Satch launched against the pop/rock group for allegedly ripping off his song. Satch claims that Coldplay blatantly plagiarized from him, and is sueing for damages. Coldplay had this to say in repsonse: "Yeah, some people are suing us at the moment and although it was initially a bit depressing, now it's become really inspiring. Well, in celebration of record store day (which frankly I'm surprised is still alive, but thankfully), Magnolia Electric Co released a new 7 inch. It's called "It Made Me Cry". This 7 inch only had a limited number of copies made. I know, us fans always want the vinyl as opposed to it's digital brethren, but if you didn't get a copy (which I'd be surprised if anyone did), you can get it on iTunes. Happy hunting vinyl lovers!
