Safe. Here's the second part of my post from earlier. Got to say this batch is even better, if that's possible. Im thinking of hitting Creamfields this year, well wanted to go last year but didn't have the cash. I've got to say the line-up looks fucking sick, and the day after it finishes I can move into my new house up in Newcastle, which is gonna be crazy. Those of you not from UK, Creamfields is a massive dance festival held every year. You can have [...]

Back home in the endz which means lots of lovely clubbing. Last week I was at Matter for Rinse's 15th birthday & if you missed that then you definitely missed out. Well this Friday be sure to check out a new London Friday night at The Egg, especially if you're a cheap skate ex-student, currently on the dole like me. [...]

Just when you thought MSTRKRFT couldn't get any worst they release 'Heartbreaker', a super commercial paino ballad with an overly used title ready to infect the minds of pre-teens and middle aged house wives alike. The track shows no signs of the pairs original producton style and it begs the question if your going to ruin a once credible (maybe) act then why not simple produce your commerical stuff under a different alias as to keep the different fan bases seperate? Who knows maybe I'll find the answer in Steve Aoki's wallet. [...]
Diplo and Switch ' brainchild Major Lazer has been thrown all over the web since its recent birth, if you've not heard the originals then no doubt you'll of heard one of the scores of remixes that probably each electronic music based blog will of featured at least one of. Personally I'm not much of a fan of most the tracks that I've heard from the act but I am impressed in the fashion which they've released a full length album in full balls out style [...]

Holy Sh@t!... Thats what you should be thinking after I inject these dubs into your ears with a baseball bat. Ive got about 6 tunes that I'm going to split into two posts, just to spread shit out a bit. Decibel didn't think much of the Skream remix of Mujava, but I guess he's a bit pissed when he bought some vinyls before remembering he doesn't have his turntables anymore! Haha sorry J but that goes down as an epic fail and I've kindly decided to share it with the blog world! [...]

Been waiting for this for ages. Theres been a lot of radio rips and crappy half length versions that i've been having to listen to. But no more, heres a nice full quality, full length version for you all to skank to. I'm a massive fan of The Streets , and im looking forward to their next album because I thought the last one was shit. I posted the Blinded By The Lights Remix months ago, but I'll re-post for anyone who didn't cop it. Nero is a beast. [...]

Probably should have put this up earlier, but yeah if you can't be arsed to upload your tunes and just fancy sending them direct, or want to ask us something, or just give us abuse... Hit us up. Our username is: RUBTHATDUB .

Got speaking to Axon a while back, AKA Jack Meadows, and he sent across a pretty sick batch of tunes. He started making music about 6 years ago, mostly making "wierd glitch Aphex Twin stuff", and moved into dubstep and DJing around 4 years ago. He's also got a website, ' Bedroom Records ' where you can get hold of a whole mess of stuff. Check it. He had a few of his productions played on Radio 1 recently, [...]

Mine and everyone's favourite big bass ambassador is back again with yet more sick remixes! You know the devil makes work for idle hands and Foamo just makes steamers with his! I don't know how he does it, between jet setting the globe playing DJ sets here, there and everywhere he still manages to find time to produce tracks which blow your run of the mill producer's out of the water each and everytime! [...]

South Londons freshest collective The Boog-a-Loo Crew are no strangers to the blog already having their remix of the DRT track 'Rising Sun' (which samples none other than the legendary seventeen years by guitar based production group Ratatat ) already featured on the blog here Having come to acclaim through their night Stick Up Kids the brand fused Hip Hop, House, [...]
Maybe not 3 blind mice, but 2 bent mice; a fresh bootleg just been sent over this way from Aspin & Dipace . Posted a mix by the guys sometime last week which I'm sure for those of you who downloaded it would of been nothing but impressed by, I know I was as I've probably listened to it at least once a day since been in receipt of the little gem! So if you haven't got it already, the why not is all i can ask? [...]

Two heads are better than one and it seems that every act I seem to find myself writing about nowadays are a duo of some discription. Well as not to break from the norm then why not write about another? Kry Wolf are a supercharged pair creating paramount party music which can be located somewhere in the no-mans land between the post apocalyptic wastelands of bassline city and the rugged alphine grandeur of fidget mountains. Their track 'Mucky' is the premier release of the Sounds of Sumo [...]

Some pretty sick tracks from some pretty sick producers. Here's a nice batch of tunes to shove down your necks and get jiggy to. A couple new bits from Rusko , one from Benga that was released for the 15th Birthday of Rinse FM last Friday. That track is so damn nasty its like someone scratching their nails on the chalkboard whilst hurling puke all over the place. Yeh, pretty nasty. There's an absolute gem of a track from Jakes , courtesy of friends from Trashcanpunch. Anyway, cop all these and reach for that sick-bag. Safety. [...]

Alrite, blogger took this down, so im slapping her right back in the face and putting it back UP. The post needed editing anyway, I've since got hold of a myspace for Cadenza . I thought blogger only hated Decibel... Anyway here are the tunes that some of you did grab. Here's the re-up. Faithless - We Come One (Cadenza Remix) [...]

Sorry I haven't updated all you dubheads in a while, just had a pretty crazy week. Today there will be a massive influx of dubstep for you all to cream yourselves over. Cadenza sent me these tracks a week or so ago, and they're well worth a listen. I couldn't find his myspace, so unfortunately can't post up the link. But make sure to hit these tracks up, and look out for his upcoming night to kick off his record label. Ill try get some more details and flyers and stuff. But for now here's the dubs. [...]

As far as live performances go these guys are second to none! Been witness to there live set a few times now and they just continue to get better and better. So it would be pretty obvious that when they put a mix together that it's always got to be of a high standard and the red mix, second mix in there 'colours' mix series does not disappoint. As you'll notice from the track list these guys aren't afraid to mix it up when it comes to tracks ranging from a variety of different genres and when said tracks are [...]

Sorry to come over all serious now chaps. But our blog is based in the North East of England and today we have lost one of our heros Hosta is a Man Utd fan, I support Arsenal as you probably guessed from the gunner post, but we both love football first and today something good really has been lost from football, Newcastle and the North East Region. Hopefully the [...]

My name is Decibel & I have an addiction... An addiction to Twitter. I blame DJ Zinc for this, he carelessly mentioned Twitter on his myspace blog not realizing the damage it would inflict on my already anti-social, social life. I spend my days looking for interesting things to twitpic and twit about it, Andy Milonakis Let Me Twitter Dat is the blueprint by which I lead my life. Luckily there are others out there like me [...]

I've been aware of Riva Starr for some time now but have never managed to really get into his sound. When I first heard him I'd just find myself thinking 'it's kinda of like minimal, but not in the good way, just like minimal as in there's not alot going on.' Fair enough I'd hear tracks here and there which I may find ok but never truely made me jump out my seat. But as time went on and the constant big basslines began to grate and all the 'fidget' house tracks just [...]
