One of the the most legendary bands in the world Black Sabbath now step into another era when Poolside make a rework of "Planet Caravan". Almost everything that Poolside gets in contact with, becomes golden. This version is pure smoothness combined with some psychedelic vibes. The original tune was included on Black Sabbaths breakthrough album "Paranoid" from 1970. Ozzy Osbourne used a Leslie speaker to achieve the dreamy vocal effects. Enjoy Black Sabbath in a new suit for 2012!

The xx followed up 2009's success album "xx" very well when they released "Coexist" earlier this year. One of the best tracks from the album "Chained" has now got some remix love from John Talabot and Pional . They build the track from a kind of slow starter into a dance floor banger. Always lovin' what Pional and John Talabot are up to! The xx - Chained (John Talabot & Pional Remix) (192 kbps) As a Christmas bonus, The xx also played live at the BBC Radio 1 Live [...]

Been lovin' this remix for a couple of months from the duo Oliver , I also think it's the perfect track to get you going for this Saturday night parties all around the world. Be free!

I've been onto them a while but they are most worthy to share with you in case they have slipped you by. Not so hard if they've done that when we see like 1 billion tracks released every day, some tracks can then easy slip you by. First out is this tropical masterpiece from Air Zaïre . It was a free DL before, but unfortunately not any more, so if you want to hear it out except from here, join my DJ-set tomorrow Friday at Miss Voon here in Stockholm. [...]

Depending on where in the world you are, you might be aware of that Christmas soon will be upon a large portion of the planet. And as you may or may not know, Christmas is all about getting presents. So there are a lot of people giving away a lot of music for free these days. You've got Juno giving away a free track each day up till Christmas, for example. Other Santa impersonators are awesome label The House of Disco , who do the same thing on their blog . Today's track [...]

Six days old, out on Boys Noize Records, original by Mixhell and remixed by Aeroplane . Short story, big tune! Buy it on Beatport , Juno or iTunes .

And the guessing game begins. The Magician on Facebook and Twitter .

As you know we've been big fans of Ellie Goulding for a long time, both for making great music of her own, but not least for a knack of finding the right people to remix her music. I'm thinking of Monsieur Adi's remix of "Starry Eyed", which was my favourite song of 2010 for example. Destined to be another favourite is this remix of her new single "Figure 8" by Toyboy & Robin , a duo that has to be one of the fastest rising UK house acts at the moment. [...]

Our beloved Norwegian duo Röyksopp are about to hit us with a new mighty fine tune named "Running to the Sea" featuring Susanne Sundfør . They performed it live on NRK's Lydverket November 28. I always get excited when I can hear new material from Röyksopp, because they have been one of the most talented electronic bands for the last decade. Exploring around with guest artists creating more pop sounds on "Junior" into making the album "Senior" with a more instrumental and more experimenting approach. Love this new tune [...]

Is Tropical 's tune "Land of the Nod" has gotten some Xinobi treatment. This remix follows Xinobi's new sound and I still love his new melodic house style. Also loving the free download of the track! Go Xinobi!

New tune from Kavinsky taken from "Outrun" released early next year. "Outrun" will be the soundtrack to the movie with the same name, where Kavinsky produces the soundtrack. This track "ProtoVision"is more back to his sound before "Nightcall", that made Kavinsky really huge to the world. I liked his earlier sound a lot, so I like this new one from him too. It shows that he can produce his 80s influenced music in different ways. We wait for "Outrun" to be out and we will then see how wide the soundtrack will be. [...]

Shelby Grey releases a single with two new tracks on Holographic People . The title of the release is "The Devil's Dancer" and is also one of the tracks included, the other one is "Danse Macabre". Both tracks are a bit different from earlier of Shelby's releases and got a lot of the 70s cosmic disco sound. I like what I hear from Shelby Grey a lot. "The Devil's Dancer" is a real 70s disco pearl putting it somewhere in a darker Moroder-land. Plenty of good people such as Xinobi, Clancy, Moonlight Matters and Punks [...]

Once again our Swedish friends of Monitor 66 make another sweet blissco tune, yes that what they call their music style right now, blissco. The remix is of Ukrainian Oleg Lisovksy, named Lessovsky when releasing his music. This EP "Spend & Cherish" is released on the Stockholm based label Oh! Records holding the remix from Monitor 66. Buy the EP over at Beatport . The original tune from Lessovksy is more deep house than Monitor 66's blissco remix but also nice. [...]

Liking the new mixtape from our Polish friend BrainWash . Only two weeks ago we played at their club SoHo in Sopot. It was so fun that Arnie broke his arm in pure joy! This mixtape is also pure joy, but don't go breaking your arms, ok? Tracklist will be added soon.

We were one of the first blogs to write about and also write up Kate Boy , the new Swedish super act that will rise to the skies. With their first track "Northern Lights" they kind of blew up the blogosphere and getting praising words from all over the world. Listen and see the video here . Now the release date for the EP is set to January 22 and it will be released on IAMSOUND Records . Until that special date they let us hear their next tune, the B-side "In Your Eyes". [...]

Our main Fireball whiskey supplier, and my evil twin, ODahl 's latest track is a step away from the nu disco towards a deeper sound, and I'm loving it. At the same time it makes me remember the track that really caught my ear from the beginning - his remix/cover of another seminal soul claasic; Luther Vandross' "Never Too Much". Great way to move forwards without forgetting where you came from.

Digging the new single from synthy house nestor Kris Menace called "Hide", taken from his new album "Features". It's got Miss Kittin on vocals and a very nice video which makes you think of both A-ha's classic "Take on Me" and the psychedelic X-mix series that ran on MTV's Party Zone in the mid-90's. The remixes come from Undo , Nhar , Alexander Maier , Pwndtiac and Maethelvin . Nice ones, and even nicer that the Maethelvin is a freebie!

The latest sweet tune from Goldroom featuring the Swedish twins Saint Lou Lou . Another pearl from LA mastermind Goldroom. Buy it here !

Time is past three glasses of red wine and fantastic company of a certain person. What could then be better then to hear the B-side of Julio Bashmore 's latest single "Husk / Pelican"? Probably nothing! Out December 2. Good night then!

An interesting new electronic Swedish artist is born, in Frida Sundemo . With "Indigo" she got herself an amazing little tune that directly hit your heart. One listening and I was hooked, two listenings, three listenings and then I was heartily hooked. An EP is about to get released on Parlophone/EMI in March next year, a video is soon out and Adrian Lux is about to release a remix of "Indigo". With "Indigo" we get a taste of what to come with her new sound. Earlier she created more singer/songwriter music and also been included in [...]
