We wrote about Justin Faust 's "Girl Talk" EP released on Discotexas back in July . Now the title track has been remixed by up and coming Leipzig duo PWNDTIAC , and Herr Faust is kind enough to give it away for free! Justin Faust - Girl Talk (PWNDTIAC Remix) FREE DOWNLOAD by Discotexas PWNDTIAC recently released a very nice EP on Work it Baby called The Horsepower EP. Here's the YouTube teaser: [...]

New mighty stuff from Lyon-based Pyramid . We always like it and probably Cheops and Tutankhamun too. Not that they were into this kind of music but if they were they would have loved Pyramid. We start off with the new EP "Rising Day" that's out tomorrow November 7 on Technofavrik . This is a superb solid EP that show why Pyramid is one of the most talented young producers out there right now. All five tracks got that extra something and what I also love about the music that Pyramid create, is that it's [...]

We wrote about the fabulous quartet of Kites a while ago and in that post we mentioned that a video for the single "Brother" was about to come. Now it's here! The track is a melancholy story of two brothers, whose fates are interwoven throughout the song in a tapestry of fear and hope. One brother is at the end of his journey; the other is only just embarking. The video is made by film-maker George Harvey (i:D Magazine, GQ Magazine).

Always joyful times when you hear from Le Matos . Last year it has been quiet and we all along wanted to hear new material from them. We know that they are up to something in a near future but until then they were so gentle that they released a collection of tracks from now back to 2008. In other words, it's a short retrospective of Le Matos and their progress. And the beauty of this, is that they give it to you for free (of course you can also pay to show them your respect). [...]

Always love when we write about totally new music from a country that we've not written about before. Mecanico comes from Santiago in Chile, and is the first band from Chile that we write about through our years. And we like what we hear! Mecanico is a five-piece band and they do that kind of electro indie pop that we like so much. We've heard their name flying by us some times, but first now I got the time to listen to their sound. And as a couple of friends do, I like what I [...]

Latest tune from our German friends of Final DJs is a straight forward one that probably right now is all I need. It has a nice sampled guitar loop that really give something extra to this track. Keep it up Final DJs! Final DJs - All I Need by FINAL DJs

Life must be grand for Josh Legg. Not only is he head honcho at one of the coolest blogs and labels ('blabels') Binary Entertainment , he lives in the lovely city of Los Angeles, California. Probably in a mansion, where he sits by the pool drinking his breakfast champagne while his pedicurist is massaging his feet. It's probably the same pedicurist as Dennis Quaid uses too. I don't know these things for a fact though, but what I do know is that, besides releasing and blogging about great music, he makes just as great music himself [...]

Wow, this is some good shit. Never heard of Blackbelt Andersen before. Stumbled upon him via an excellent Mustang mixtape the other day and I feel that I must blog this to you guys even if the "Tyrkisk Pepper" release was out last year. Blackbelt Andersen move in the same Norwegian fjord disco as his fellow countrymen of Prins Thomas, Lindstrom and Todd Terje. And also not to forget Dolle Jolle , who also made a splendid remix of the track. Enjoy these gems on a Sunday like this! Blackbelt [...]

¡BORRACHO! is standing in the way of control together with amazing Gossip . Way too long time since we did a post about our beloved ¡BORRACHO!, but now they're back with this old school down tempo remix of Gossip's "Standing In The Way Of Control". Nice to hear some new great stuff from the boys. Gossip - Standing In The Way Of Control (¡BORRACHO! Remixx) (320 kbps) And because it's been a while since the last ¡BORRACHO! post we must pay our debts by putting in some bonus tracks. For [...]

Here's some really nice deep disco house to get your limbs moving. It's Stockholm producer Lovers getting some remix treatment from fellow Stockholm trio Name in Lights . They're a fairly new act on the disco/house scene. They made their debut on their own label FEED Recordings with the acid-influenced slowbanging remix of DJ Dust's "Ancient Astronauts" which became something of an underground hit on Stockholm dancefloors. Since then they've released their debut EP "Eld & Lågor", followed by a remix of Nick Chacona's "Slice Of Life" on New York label Wurst, [...]

A lot stuff is happening over at French label On The Fruit Records . They have some exciting releases in the pipeline that we'll cover soon, and their latest release, T&K 's debut album "Magic Talk" is doing very well on Beatport. T&K are a duo, even if the cute video below make them out to be a trio. The video is not very accurate at all, since they're not cartoon blobs either, but a guy and a gal made out of flesh and blood from Lille, France. here's the video: [...]

Weird, I was certain we had written about Housse de Racket 's awesome, and now almost two months old single "Roman". You know that we haven't always been the fastest blog, and lately we have been using the Heinz Ketchup strategy when blogging, but are we now also turning demented? Well, that doesn't bode well. Anyway, Housse de Racket had the album "Alesia" released on Kitsuné in late August with the single "Roman" coming out less than a week after that. The original is great, as I said, and so are the remixes by Oliver [...]

I must admit, I hadn't heard of the duo Lissi Dancefloor Disaster despite them being from the lovely University city of Uppsala 45 mins north of Stockholm (which is a city we've played in a lot and where we are going back to play on November 9). The Stockholm duo Lo-Fi-Fnk , on the other hand, are old favourites of ours, and the latter's remix of the former caught my eyes in the mailbox today. Heading over to LDD's Soundcloud page to listen to their new EP "AS We Plz" that comes out today, i [...]

Here's a short update on everyone's favourite Clancy . He's made a couple of remixes lately. One of French electro prodigy Alec Carlsson (with a very Swedish sounding name), and one of Sweden's most hipster mainstream singers (or is it the other way around?), Robyn. I'm not using the M-word to have a go at her, on the contrary, there are few people who make so authentic music, and still appeal to such a wide audience, and that's both impressive and well deserved. Anyway, here are the tracks: [...]
Almost exactly two years ago we wrote about Barcelona's CatComplex . The first thing I heard of him was his Robin Gibb remix that was a part of Barcelona duo Buffetlibre's "Rewind" cover/remix project on 80s pop classics. Those Catalans seem to love their covers (who doesn't?), because since then Ángel CatComplex have been working hard on a cover project of his own; the CatCovers tribute to Daft Punk ! This has been long time in the making; we were on the verge of writing about it back in December of last year, [...]

On October 31 Is Tropical will release their third single off June's "Native To" album on Kitsuné . Check out Leopard of Honour 's which sounds a bit like a French electro-funk remix of a Depeche Mode song made for a 70s Italian movie soundtrack. And I mean that in a good way. Lies (Leopard Of Honour Remix) by Is Tropical

Our Swiss friends Flashworx recently finished their new EP "Futurisma", and they're giving it away for free! Flashworx - Futurisma by Flashworx Flashworx - Gliese 581 by Flashworx Flashworx - Ms. Chapel by Flashworx Flashworx - Never Come Back by Flashworx [...]

Minneapolis' Gigamesh is a great producer responsible for the 2009 Billboard number 6 remix of Mike Posner's "Cooler Than Me", amongst other things. He's also a part of both the remix group DiscoTech and synth-disco-pop band Señor Stereo , which we wrote about here . Yesterday he released his new self-titled EP featuring collaborations with Induce, Amanda Love and Nicole Godiva. Fan Gigamesh on Facebook , buy the EP on iTunes and check out this remix of our favourite Italian disco duo Fare Soldi , who we haven't heard from [...]

I'm liking this Eurythmics-synth-electro remix by French producer Awkoder . He's from Nancy, even if you could've sworn he's from Nantes. Super Mirage- Wasting Away (Awkoder Remix) by Awkoder
If you're a follower of this blog, you don't need an introduction to ODahl . He's been giving away some really nice music lately. You should check it out. ODahl - Soul Music (320 kbps) ODahl - She Gave Me Drugs (320 kbps) Futurecop! - N.A.S.A. feat. Christian Rich (ODahl Remix) (320 kbps)
