Sup everybody. I didn't get to go to SXSW, but my parents did plan a last second vacation to St. John, so that's where I'm blogging from. I'd apologize for my lack of contact in the blogosphere, but to be honest, I'm not all that sorry for choosing the beach, 80º weather and family time over posting here, at least, not for a few days. Luckily for y'all, I've got a four hour layover in San Juan, PR tomorrow, so I'm definitely buying the internet pass and the bus from Boston to Hanover has interweb connectivity. [...]
If I wasn't such an asshole (or could figure out how to upload photos from my phone) you would have some sick pictures of the show last night. But, I'm not and I can't so deal with it. Needless to say the show last night was incredible. Cut Copy is quickly becoming one of my favorite live acts. Blissful, energetic, electronic music done just right. Every song had the crowd in a frenzy, but there were a few highlights. Relatively new-ish track "Sands of Time" killed live. The breakdown in "Far Away" [...]
