My time with Patrick ( Bronson ) was brief. Consequently a brief encounter does not limit the number of ways the universe chooses to defecate on you. It just takes its defecation, and makes it more concentrated. Instead of a shit misting, it's more of a shit monsoon; I shudder when thinking up more examples, so I'll explain what actually occurred. From the time that we met Patrick to the time when we started filming the universe took Patrick's keys (car, home and work), bore a deep hole in his credit card pocket to pay a 24-hour locksmith service and [...]

Los Angeles' yOya is Alex Pfender and Noah Dietterich. The two have been working on yOya since 2009; with their debut album, "Nothing To Die," under their belt, the duo is determined to tour the West Coast and Rocky Mountains. This band will be one of the big hits in 2011, and we are excited to share this with you! Also, in Seattle you can catch them at the Skylark on Friday: Yoya @ Skylark Fri, Feb 18th 9pm, $5 w/ Jeremy [...]
On December 14, 2010 Camp Revival traveled to a bar, in a shed, on Queen Anne hill that overlooked the skyline of Seattle to film WESAFARI . Camp Revival has been listening to WESAFARI 's 2005 release "Alaska" for quite some time. When we heard they were coming out with a new record we knew we NEEDED to film them. Although it was blustery outside, the shed bar had a warm stove, and an impressive collection of beer lights that made the December weather all but disappear. WESAFARI performed the song "Hiccup" off of their new release " [...]

A Final Request “That the saints may enjoy their beatitude and the grace of God more abundantly they are permitted to see the punishment of the damned in hell.” Thomas Aquinas “(A while ago I imagined a fantastic tale in the manner Léon Bloy: a theologian dedicates his entire life to refuting a heresiarch; he bests him in intricate polemics, denounces him, has him burned at the stake. [...]
On Sunday, November 7th Camp Revival filmed Hunting Hat in Seattle's SODO neighborhood. Given the industrial grime of SODO, we found it important to pay our respects to this craphole by playing a couple street games. Instead of the popular favorite: kick the can, we opted for something a little more extreme; rusty pipe football and severed-electrical-wire jump rope extreme. We're idiots. Despite our stupidity the filming was a success and Kyle (Hunting Hat) returned safely back to Bellingham. Kyle's new album, is released today! The album is titled: ' There are plenty of people younger [...]

otem rellik , seen above with a suitcase of rewired and painted electronics for which he is responsible, has been called a hip-hop mastermind. Yes, he has put out many records over the past decade featuring heavy drum machines and quick flow verse, but there is something more than a rapper, and more like a Bob Dylan-esque monumental folk singer, with Toby Hendricks, the man behind otem rellik. If you don't like the readability of that last sentence, dive into otem rellik's newest album, Elephant Graveyard . Circle Into Square just released a colection of [...]

This is the second video in the Beat Connection series. Check out part one here .
This summer Camp Revival has had Beat Connection's flawless L.P., Surf Noir , on loop. On August 10th Camp Revival met up with Beat Connection at the band's practice space in the U-District. Climbing up to the attic space where Beat Connection's equipment was set up, the band's sound made more, and more sense to me. They are basically practicing in the clouds, overlooking the entire U-District; it was incredible. After a quick sound check, grilled meats and a healthy amount of beer we started the camera and caught part one of the Beat Connection series.

There are many Duffy stories, and they are all good. A lot of them involve snow, wheels, soda pop, and a bunny suit. Some of them can only be mentioned in situations where no one will remember them. I will share a more orthodox one. In addition to being an all-around awesome dude, Patrick “Duffy” De Armas is a Renaissance man. He does it all, and does it well. Currently he commits much of his time to his artistic endeavor, Electric Coffin . With a studio situated in the ultra-hip/sketchy Pioneer Square area of Seattle, Duffy’s work [...]
This was the second video we shot with Candy Claws . Enjoy. And, don’t miss the first .
Ryan, Kay, Marty, Jonathan, McKenzie, Meghan, Wesley and Riley: Give yourselves a pat on the butt for a show that was brilliantly performed. There are shows that you come home from and your ears ring for two days. And then there is Candy Claws, where your ears are ringing for a week. Except, it is not that annoying high pitched claw your face off tone, it wasn't even all that loud. It is the joyful sleigh-bells that I have been hearing everywhere ever since, and I love it. I love these guys. After the show, an adventure was [...]

I first became wise to the Wise Blood two nights ago while I was trolling Myspace. The visuals on their page, paired with their grainy-soulful beats had my head bobbing the moment I pressed pay on 'STRT SRNS'. As with most of the music I love, I was not able to find any history or background on Wise Blood through their site. To gather my intel I turned to the blogosphere. I found some great reviews and interviews ( Bohemian Cuddle Box , I Guess I'm Floating , Delicious Scopitone , We All Want Someone [...]
