My time with Patrick ( Bronson ) was brief. Consequently a brief encounter does not limit the number of ways the universe chooses to defecate on you. It just takes its defecation, and makes it more concentrated. Los Angeles' yOya is Alex Pfender and Noah Dietterich. On December 14, 2010 Camp Revival traveled to a bar, in a shed, on Queen Anne hill that overlooked the skyline of Seattle to film WESAFARI . Camp Revival has been listening to WESAFARI 's 2005 release "Alaska" for quite some time. When we heard they were coming out with a new record we knew we NEEDED to film them. On Sunday, November 7th Camp Revival filmed Hunting Hat in Seattle's SODO neighborhood. Given the industrial grime of SODO, we found it important to pay our respects to this craphole by playing a couple street games. Instead of the popular favorite: kick the can, we opted for something a little more extreme; rusty pipe football and severed-electrical-wire jump rope extreme. We're idiots. This summer Camp Revival has had Beat Connection's flawless L.P., Surf Noir , on loop. On August 10th Camp Revival met up with Beat Connection at the band's practice space in the U-District. Climbing up to the attic space where Beat Connection's equipment was set up, the band's sound made more, and more sense to me. They are basically practicing in the clouds, overlooking the entire U-District; it was incredible. After a quick sound check, grilled meats and a healthy amount of beer we started the camera and caught part one of the Beat Connection series.

There are many Duffy stories, and they are all good. A lot of them involve snow, wheels, soda pop, and a bunny suit. Some of them can only be mentioned in situations where no one will remember them. Ryan, Kay, Marty, Jonathan, McKenzie, Meghan, Wesley and Riley: Give yourselves a pat on the butt for a show that was brilliantly performed. I first became wise to the Wise Blood two nights ago while I was trolling Myspace. The visuals on their page, paired with their grainy-soulful beats had my head bobbing the moment I pressed pay on 'STRT SRNS'.
