![[STREAM] WayBeyond – “Ello”](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4797697_lg.jpg)
and you remember this, you said never let me go More music from Scotland ! Dave Biggin is WayBeyond but the fantastic voice you hear wrapped around epic hillside-battle jam "Ello" is most definitely not his. Some have rumored Ellie Goulding. And others have ignored the rumors all together and set the song to a montage of eagles and antelope and other awesome animals doing their thing... Well they should, anyway...
![[EP] American Royalty – PRISMATIC (w/ “Hungry”)](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4797698_lg.jpg)
when i had my eye, staring at the sun, growing old and wise, but staying young and dumb We've already been massaged by the jittery bongo & guitar shuffle of American Royalty's mellowed out single "Honey & Queen" and now the LA group has dropped the Prismatic EP which has 4 more tracks of their psyched-out groove rock."Hungry" follows EP-opener "Honey" and is the real party starter. Gutars shred over whiplash a rhythm section and it makes me want to rock. Then they get tender on "Mariah" before bringing the slow burn weirdo funk [...]
![[VIDEO] Music Video Roundup – 02.21.13 [Bonobo, Zak Waters, Rhye, Mikky Ekko, Theme Park]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4797699_lg.jpg)
Jeeze Louise. The site has been down a hot minute but lemme tell you, the sweet music videos rest for no one. Expect a few more of these installments in the coming days. So much goodness! Bonobo - "Cirrus" Hold onto your eyeballs. Zak Waters - "Runnin Around" "Its hard out here for a pimp", "I aint a playa I just crush a lot", and other phrases... Rhye [...]
![[MP3] Brolin – “Another Year”](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4797700_lg.jpg)
angel, it will be alright, i swear, day and night it will be so much better Don't let the mask fool you. Britain's Brolin makes sensitive music with a heart so bare you are almost afraid to touch it. "Another Year" barely touches the ground as it floats past my ears and straight to my insides. His sound stays rather steady on other fan-favorite "NYC" so lets hope he finds more ways to express that voice.
![[STREAM] Chill Bump – “It’s Alive!”](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4797701_lg.jpg)
like latin a language dies when it does not move France has a long and illustrious carrer of making exceptional hip-hop. I have a long and illustrious career of missing great bands on first listen. These two institutions collided recently when my girlfriend recommended Chill Bump and their jam "It's Alive." I kinda meh -ed it. Fast forward a few weeks when it gets submitted by the band and then I'm all over it. Sorry RC. Hello Chill Bump! Now let's all get down n dirty to the sinister grooves going [...]
![[STREAM] CHVRCHES – “The Mother We Share”](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4797702_lg.jpg)
and when it all fucks up, you put your head in my hands, it’s a souvenir for when you go Scotland's Chvrches have done a solid job of blowing up online recently and as I hit repeat on "The Mother We Share" for the third time in a row I am less and less surprised. Big, infectious, danceable, and with just enough glitchy Ooh-ooh-ooh vocals to keep the cool kids interested.
![[VIDEO] Music Video Roundup – 1.29.13](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4760205_lg.jpg)
The website is still giving me (and thus the world!) some troubles. Turns out it may be related to traffic from dumb sites like Beemp3. I didn't think anyone actually cared about mp3s anymore... Anyway, so while I keep tinkering under the hood you guys kick back with some great music videos that have come through the pipeline! Odd Us - "The Sword In The Stone" (ft. Amy Kuney) http://youtu.be/oR_susN9wh8 Electric Guest - "The Bait" (The Guest in the Leon Sandcastle Superbowl ad!) http://youtu.be/FVZZnHDLbLE [...]
![[PREMIERE] Wildlife Control – “Different”](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4748910_lg.jpg)
when they say you're not the same, its all right Wildlife Control already locked down one of last year's top jams with "Analog or Digital" and now they are back with whole new bag of tricks. "Different" cuts away from the heavy dance-pop hooks of "Analog" and ventures into a spacier alt-rock realm. Drums, guitars, and those falsetto vocals blaze this epic trail. Evolution rarely sounds this good.
![[PLAYLIST] The Best COVER SONGS of 2012](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4746635_lg.jpg)
Cover songs are still my favorite way for emerging bands to put their own sound on a hit song and get easy attention. However 2012 was for some reason a slow year for cover songs. Luckily a handful of bands did them well and left us with flipped and twisted takes on old classics and net hits alike. Here are my 10 favorites. What did I miss? Download the ZIP file ! NOTE: Some covers may have been released before 2012. The rules for my best of lists are [...]

![[VIDEO] Music Video Roundup – 01.24.13](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4738472_lg.jpg)
Peel those eyelids back for this weeks collection of great music videos. Last weeks selection took a couple weeks to collect but this one came together in 1 night! I guess that's what happens when you go on vacation and the vids pile up. Either way, I had a blast watching these and thing you will too. Sun City - "High" Australia's Sun City set a high standard for the year with kids doing adult things. Anamanaguchi - "「MEOW」" [...]

![[MP3] Ex – “Your Love”](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4728715_lg.jpg)
♫ Ex - Your Love Who: Brian Ecklund What : Glitch pop, like Flume , Yalls , Ratatat Where : Wayne, PA + Facebook When : From the upcoming album Your Love's What I Need . Why : An instrumental song called "Your Love" seems like a strange thing but the more I listen to this jam and the more it puts a smile on my face the more I understand. Whether you love [...]
![[STREAM] Skream – “Copy Cat” ft. Kelis](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4728424_lg.jpg)
i'm such a fan of your hair, that's why i cut it The track info say's "Copy Cat" is Skream's, the album art says Kelis'. Either way it's an unlikely combination that puts both artists outside what they are known for and the end result is pretty undeniable. There is no milkshake motion or dubby crunch but the minimal blip bloop production hangs in the air like a fog, only being wafted aside by Kelis' hushed vocals. I could definitely get behind more collaborations like this.
![[MP3] Mitzi – “All I Heard”](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4726596_lg.jpg)

![[LP] Peter and Kerry – LA TRIMOUILLE (w/ “Annie” + “Fifty In The $lot$”)](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4724860_lg.jpg)
but all your sighing heavily and semi-silent mutterings are another guarantee that it's too late to stop me Peter & Kerry's "Knees" is one of my favorite sad-sack breakup folk songs in recent years so it was a pleasant surprise to hear them pepping things up for the sonically fun yet still break-up-y "Split For The City." The fun kept coming when months late I finally got my hands on their debut full length La Trimouille . The album takes the elements of "Knees" that made it so infectious and blends them with [...]
I'm on vacation so pardon the brevity. These are videos so you don't want these words anyway. Anyway, here are some eye treats I saw recently. Some new, some older. Some posted, some not, some yet to be. Peace out y'all. Roosevelt - "Sea" Solange - "Losing You" Pale - "Too Much" Cherub - "Monogamy"
