Behold. Sigur Rós has released another music video in support of their new album, Valtari . This time, the track "Varúð" gets the video treatment. It was put together by artist Ingibjörg Birgisdóttir who also did the album's artwork. Taylor Hawkins to play Iggy Pop in upcoming CBGB movie
The upcoming movie about legendary NYC venue, CBGB's, is adding a legitimate rock star to its cast. Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins is set to play Iggy Pop in the film. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Hawkins will portray the Stooges frontman and has a few more cast confirmations as well. Slipknot launching music festival called Knotfest
Slipknot fans in the U.S. are getting their band back in a big way this year. Not only is Slipknot headlining the Mayhem festival but they've announced that they're hosting their own music festival called Knotfest this August. Knotfest will take place on August 17th in the band's home state of Iowa and then on August 18th in the town of Somerset which is on the border of Wisconsin and Minnesota.
