With Indiesceet's first birthday just around the corner it's time to step things up with the help of you guys.

Record Store Day , which took place on Saturday (April 17th), aims to get music fans back into their local record store and back buying physical music media. It's a great way to promote the independent stores which are struggling more and more as music downloads become bigger and bigger. Slow Club have enlisted the help of Mackenzie Crook (AKA Gareth from The Office) to star in the video for debut album track 'Giving Up On Love'. Los Campesinos! are about to start their trek of the US with Cymbals Eat Guitars as promotion for the amazingly good 'Romance Is Boring'. The Morning Benders share with us a video to accompany the laid-back beats of 'Promises'. The video depicts a Bonnie and Clyde like relationship between two children which ends in tragedy. It all ties in pretty well with the actual track and depicts the lines "No I can't help thinking we grew up too fast, and I know, I know, I know this won't last." pretty accurately. The Flaming Lips return with a new video from their epic double album 'Embryonic'. The video is mesmerising. Featuring a girl tied to a chair trying to break free while being watched by a monkey. The effects used halfway through the video are extremely odd and somewhat terrifying, take a look to see what I mean. All in all though it's a pretty run of the mill video for The Flaming Lips these days and compared to their "free spirited" video accompanying 'Watching The Planets' it's pretty sedate. [...]

A lovely video to share with you guys from Bethany Cosentino AKA Best Coast. A sun drenched video shows Bethany and a rather familiar looking red and yellow clown relaxing on the beach and grabbing a bite to eat. Electro-noise duo Crystal Castles have finally released details of their follow up album to their self titled debut effort. Just to make things confusing for everyone the LP will be titled 'Crystal Castles'. Yup, their upcoming second album, like their first, will be self titled. Seems kind of pointless really, I mean there are like a hundred words in the English language and all they could come up with are the two used in their name and last album? Lightspeed Champion returns with the latest single from his sophomore effort 'Life Is Sweet! Nice To Meet You'. The video for 'Madame Van Damme', which you can watch below, is as quirky as ever and feels like some sort of 80's throwback. Hot Chip visited the live lounge in the Radio 1 studios over the weekend and performed a quirky version of Shakira's 'She Wolf'. The track isn't too dissimilar to the original aside from the male rather than female vocals. So, after all the (unnecessary?) hype surrounding Ellie Goulding perhaps people will now be able to sensibly judge her musical forays not upon anything other than her pure talent. The first post-album single release comes in the form of 'Guns And Horses', scheduled for release May 17th here in the UK. The video sees Ellie attempting to dance backed up by some zombies... Obviously. The video also continues the trend to literally translate Goulding's lyrics to the screen, this time featuring a horse or two and some guns. [...]

After the bizarre video to 'Under Control' , Good Shoes return with a clever video to their next single 'The Way My Heart Beats'. Caribou, AKA Dan Snaith, has just made his latest album available to stream before it's release later in the month. 'Swim' is the follow up to Caribou's 2008 Polaris Prize (the equivalent of the Mercury Prize in Canada) winning album 'Andorra'. A move away from previous material, 'Swim' ebbs and flows throughout it's duration as oppose to the usual rigid nature of Snaith's material. 'Swim' is set for release April 19th. Last.FM | MySpace

Delorean are currently on their first tour of the United States opening for Miike Snow. BRAHMS, who as a band are a mere three months old, are already making inroads into the blogosphere via the likes of Stereogum and GvB .
