After a 4 year wait since her mainstream success from her last release, 'The Reminder', Feist is back with a new single titled "How Come You Never Go There" . Although I must admit I expected a more 'pop-py' track, this jazzy, soulful, mystical track is definitely a grower. Just 3 plays in and I am deeply into it. The result of the two most influential people in the hip hop world joining forces and making an album together is fantastic and full of power. Everything about the HURTS remix of Patrick Wolf's "Time of My Life " seems so perfect - it's a remix meant to be. The original was already great, but this remix provides a more dramatic side of the track. Just like their remix of Lady Gaga's "Judas", HURTS injected a lot of more dramatic elements to make the song seem darker and more mysterious, like the use of orchestral instruments. I must admit I am an avid Calvin Harris fan. When his last album Ready for the Weekend dropped, I was unimpressed but my opinion quickly changes, and to put it the least it's a great dance album. After releasing the hit " Barbra Streisand ", Duck Sauce had quite an expectation to live up to. " Big Bad Wolf " is the most recent release ever since then, and I've got a mixed feeling about it.
