One name that's been cropping up a lot lately is Dillon Francis ; his unique mix of UK Funky, Moombahton and Dubstep has been making waves with the Mad Decent crew among others. His 'Westside' EP in particular attracted a lot of attention from, well, pretty much everybody. I have to say, we've somewhat neglected the consistently lovely Tigerbeat6 lately but that was before I knew Kid606 was working on a new album and a new podcast series. There's not much information about the album yet, but it's the podcast we're really excited about. The first mix in the series is curated by Kid606 himself and consists exclusively of his own remixes of classic Tigerbeat6 artists. John Cale signs to Domino to release new EP

The new four-track EP marks the label broadening its horizons as they ready the new Spiritualized LP. Hot on the promotional trail of her new album 'Frantically Hopeful', Pursuit Grooves has put together a marvelous new mix for FACT magazine. The new album, out on Tectonic , is a beautifully abstract affair incorporating inventive cuts and loops with a soulful twist. As one would expect, her FACT mix is an extension of her production style. She uses an SP-505 sampler and a collection of synths to "add additional layers of percussive effects, melodic chords, bass tones and philosophic words of wisdom”. As promised, the second installment of Radiohead 's 'King Of Limbs' remix series has dropped and features an equally impressive line-up of producers. The new 123 follows on from the Caribou and Jacques Greene remixes of 'Little By Little' and 'Lotus Flower' respectively. Ramadanman takes on his Pearson Sound alias to remix 'Morning Mr. Magpie', Lone remixes 'Feral' and Four Tet takes on 'Separator'. L-Vis 1990 to release debut LP

Night Slugs co-founder L-Vis 1990 has announced he will be releasing his long-awaited debut LP this year on PMR Records . Grime poet and all round nice chap Roots Manuva has announced he will be releasing the follow-up to 20102s 'Duppy Writer' LP, '4everevolution' this October. The new LP, like its predecessors, will be released on October 13 via Big Dada and is the sixth album of original material.
