I talked about your Indoor Life record a while back and you left a comment ... Can you get in touch please? And if anyone reading this is in contact with Mr. Socarras, I'd love it if you could pass on the message ... it would be much appreciated! Thank you .... sin.jaime - at - gmail.com

Hey Everyone I was gonna post this to advertise the party, but due to unexpected circumstances, Tim Sweeney won't be making it to Toronto tonight. We've arranged a makeup date for Friday September 5th at Wrongbar . I'm bummed that Tim can't make it, but it will still be a great night - Nav and I will still be playing, and we've got Andy Capp (of Bang the Party) on board as well. So if you were planning on coming, you totally still should - no cover before midnight!!!!!

italian tv is obviously a very exotic affair (witness the celetano vid that made the net rounds a few months back) ... it's nice that they figured if people were gonna lipsync the show itself better be pretty "WOW". here's some tripped out vids of a couple of ladies who i never thought i'd see in performance ... yay youtube! gal costa thrashing and writhing with some costumed weirdos dancing around her in a lot of dry ice ... via discogs "Alain Patrick, Aug 18, 2007 Every treasure hides its own secrets. Sometimes, these secrets may be astonishing as the treasure itself. Reputed among the most amazing tunes released by Lil' Louis ever, "Video Clash" has quite a story - and few, very few know its true extension. The first time I heard about "Video Clash" story was on an interview I made with Tyree where he said that he did his "Video Crash" classic because he [...]
monday be alone cuz sometimes you wanna, sometimes you don't
this weekend i was reminded how much i love the odd shitty rock band. here is a video of san francisco's finest, CRIME, playing a show in a maximum security prison. this song is called "piss on yr dog" and it's one of my favorites.
who my two favourite artists are whose material can consistently be found in the "inexpensive" bins of your local used record store, i'd say august darnell and gino soccio. they both put out a wealth of diverse, unique music, i pretty much always find something to like on their records, and there is always something that surprises and delights me. the recently revived strut label has released a comp of darnell's work between the years of 1974 and 83 in april (don't ask me what 'female first' is, seriously just the link that yielded [...]
