A Place To Bury Strangers are one of my favorite bands. I don't really have a follow up point to that statement aside from being pleased with the fact that they have a new video out with a new album about to come out. That is just good news for people that like A Place To Bury Strangers. Oh and this video is pretty crazy, for a video. That is two "bloody murder" videos in a row, if you are keeping score at home.

I feel like Ski Lodge is the winter equivalent of Beach House. My new band is going to be called either Forest Cabin or maybe just Vacation Rental. Despite their name, it's a pretty good song n' video.

This video might start of soul crushingly boring but right before the 1 min mark it get's much more exciting with the use of drums and special effects.

Hot Chip have always had some pretty wonderful videos with a larger than not production value, but this new one looked like it cost a poop ton of cash, am I right? Reggie Watts DOES NOT come cheap... I bet.

What a fun looking party. These people are having such a good time! Hardly a chair in sight and nobody even seems to care! It's almost stupid how good Bears of Manitou are. It's NOT stupid or anything but it almost is. There is a difference, look it up if you think you are soooo much smarter than me ok! Bears of Manitou are so smart they posted this song to twitter where I follow them, thus allowing me to post it to this highly influential music blog that I am the owner of. Win/Win/Win?

Fear Fun is the best album of the year I think... so far. It's only May but the bar has been set pretty high. And the videos are top notch too. I do miss the giant beard though. Oh well!

It's very important to know that this video was shot on location in Jackson Mississippi. Why that is important I have no idea. It must be very important because that is the first thing they tell us in the description. Maybe it's so very important to let us know where this video was made because this is the first clue to some sort of elaborate buzz marketing treasure hunt? I wonder what the treasure is? I am not saying this week is a bunch of crap... but I am also NOT saying that. St. Vincent is great, but it's not a new album exactly. S.Carey and Here We Go Magic are good and I like them. And sure, Sharon Van Etten on vinyl is perfectly fine no problems there... But come on man! Rita Wilson? The mother of Chet Haze for god's sake! I can say with confidence that Young Hines is better than old Heinz... nothing better than ketchup out of a freshly opened bottle before it's been tainted by either refrigeration OR left out on a table. Unless it's coming out of freshly unsealed room temperature vessel I don't want it! Does the fact that Brendan Benson produced this song have any influence on you in anyway in regards to how much you like or dislike this song? I didn't think so, but I am glad they added that to the title of the video anyway.
