Guest post by Gary B. Let me set the scene for you. It was a dreary February afternoon, and I was browsing the Internet in my apartment, safely insulated from the rainstorm. But something was... Read More of Ur College Fasion...

At this year's Webby Awards, the awards ceremony that honors "excellence on the Internet," Grimes took home the coveted Artist of the Year. Fred Armisen presented and Grimes stepped up to deliver her speech. The ceremony only allows acceptance speeches to be five words but as you can see, Grimes went a little overboard. 15 [...]
DULL EDGES (Live @ Muchmore’s)

Sleeping With Sirens have released a new song titled, "Free Now," which can be streamed by clicking read more.

RA is a band from Malmö, Sweden composed by Simon Minó, Erik Blondell, Felix Mårtensson, Martin Nilsson + Anton Gustafsson. Their music sounds like a trip back to the dark 80s with a touch from the new ongoing psychedelic scene. The band was formed in autumn 2012 & after great success with 2 demos on YouTube, the guys decided to record a 4-track EP with Joakim Lindberg from MF/MB/ as producer. The EP is called Bloodline & will be released June 12th digitally & on a 10” vinyl.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis headline / photo by Morgen Schuler by Tara Kelly Kearns The first day of Sasquatch greeted me with lots of good vibes. From high-fives to hugs, and signs saying “You’re looking good” to crowd sign-a-longs, people are here not only to have a good time, but to share it with strangers and friends. Even despite the age range -- young teens to people pushing mid-40s -- the crowds blended together seamlessly, never seeming imbalanced nor tense. I pulled into the campgrounds during the [...]

Great track by the brazilian producer Rafael Araujo (Cupcake), check it out!

Here I thought we were in a tropical pop drought and Pacific Air comes along a releases this refreshing remix of Magic Man's " Paris ". We've featured the Providence band's original version here on The Record Stache when it first release. It's a highly recommended piece of rocking piano pop. However, the Pacific Air remix is a standout on its own. With it's fair share of steel percussion and plenty of beachy ambiance, this is the perfect track to kick off the summer. - Matt

Volume Four is now out on iTunes & Bandcamp. Want to grab a physical copy? Come on down to the Blue Nile on Frenchmen St. Tonight - 10pm - And come celebrate this beast together in unholy matrimony and booze-soaked revelry! Hope to see you there!

photos by Matthew Thompson As night came over the Gorge, people began to flock one of two ways - towards mainstage to try and catch good views for Macklemore and Ryan Lewis , or toward the Bigfoot Stage to squeeze a place in for Vampire Weekend. I chose Vampire Weekend almost strictly as a guilty pleasure - though they may come across to some as self-assured, their songs reminded me of the desire to move but not being able to, of young love during college days, of fun on the beach with a [...]

A Copy For Collapse has just released a new video for this smashing down-chill electronic track, “White Rainbow”. Directed by Mark Gernoize, this video is alluring and intriguing, with symbolism representing a random chase, an adrenaline an intrigue, and this song makes for a perfect soundtrack. A Copy For Collapse is the solo project of Italy-based Daniele Raguso. This song has electro, downbeat, chillout, lounge and chillwave territory covered, but there is definitely a dreamlike element here. “White Rainbow” is [...]
![[CLASSIQUE] The Grouch & Eligh - All In](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4970718_lg.jpg)
Pas grand chose à se mettre sous la dent en ce samedi. Pourquoi pas un bon classique ? Voici All In , un hip hop très agréable à l'oreille de The grouch & Eligh , avec Gift of Gab et Pigeon John . Bonne soirée.
I'll follow up my last post , which features a Swedish band, with another featuring a Swedish musician. Falling is the song I want to highlight. It's a straightforward indie pop song. I think it is also perfect for the weekend and thus I share it with you now. Little Children is the alias of Linus Lutti. Enjoy Falling .
When Boys Noize and Skrillex joined forces back in August of 2012 to form Dog Blood , it was uncertain whether it was a one time collaboration or the inception of a new superduo. With Ultra Music Festival and Coachella at their back and an upcoming performance from Hard Summer, it's quite clear that Dog Blood is here to stay. After igniting the Sahara Tent to a riotous state of enthusiasm for two weekends straight at Coachella, countless fans were left harkening for the release of their live set from the festival. A month later, Dog Blood's set from Weekend [...]

It's a Saturday night. Let's pretend I'm off out clubbin' and givin' it large, rather than the reality of shuffling off to bed with my cocoa. Here's Flume remixed by A Purple Heart into a glitched dnb track that's on the money with that punchy kick. Right, I'm off to bed; don't you stay up too late; don't make too much noise and don't forget to lock the door when you come in. http://www.apurpleheart.com/

photos by Morgen Schuler After Red Fang had totally shredded the Bigfoot Stage, punk rock Vancouver-based duo Japandroids jumped on stage and after fairly minimal sound checking, started their sweaty and awesome set. Though the sound was a bit strange (it would later cut out during a Vampire Weekend song), their energy was sweaty and happy. They barreled through crowd pleasers like "Fire's Highway", "Younger Us", and "The Night of Wine and Roses" before rain on the horizon began to be rain on the stage - to which they prompty responded that mother nature [...]
