You could see dubstep as a kind of British cousin to the Rhythm & Sound / Burial Mix project explored here recently . This lineage is very clear on Pinch 's Qawwali (higher quality zShare ) on Planet Mu - an echoey, loping masterpiece made particularly special by a vaguely oriental, somewhat Augustus Pablo -ish melodica riff that sweetens its cavernous minimalism.
