Because of Not Brooklyn Fest which is this upcoming weekend, we will be extra prideful of the Connecticut music scene. One band playing this Friday, Call It Arson, has been a long time staple of the local scene. They are a talented four piece that carefully combines folk and punk. A good example is "The Unmanageable Superstate" from their Animal Strings EP, and available on their MySpace. Harmonica, acoustic guitar, and prideful lyrics blend in with a strong rocking tempo.
